BIT Sindri's Affordable Fee Structure Makes It a Prime Choice for Students

Our Institute Birsa Institute of Technology is one of the most fabulous Institute in Jharkhand which is a Government Engineering Institute of Jharkhand. It is affiliated with Jharkhand University of Technology. There were many factors through which I decided to join this Institute, first of all its fee structure is very affordable and cheaper as compared to other Institute. Another factor, by which I had chosen this Institute is for its locality.

First of all anyone who wants to join this Institute, they have to complete the intermediate with physics chemistry and mathematics. After that they have to qualify JEE main. After that a counseling process is conducted by JCECEB. You have to induct in that counseling after that they will make a merit list on the basis of your scorecard of JEE main. The academics and curriculum of our course is very good. There is a frequent examination that takes place of your course.

The fee structure for 1st year of B.Tech is Rs. 14,500 which is divided into two categories of student, fund fee and another is annual fee.

We have very good faculty members. They are highly educated and knowledgeable in their own field. Many of the professors and assistant professor are graduated and postgraduate from IIT’s and NIT’s. The method of their teaching is very interesting and interactive. They use blackboards as well as smart boards. The teachers are very interactive with the students and they don't mind if you ask any query or doubt related to academics multiple times.

The infrastructure of our Institute is very good. It has very beautiful campus and aesthetic design. Our Institute has very old type of building structures because our Institute was established in the year of 1949. The campus size of our Institute is around 450 acre. We have a lecture hall for the classes of first year B.Tech course. BIT Sindri also has a vast and developed central library which contains about 2 lakh books. Our Institute also has enlarge auditorium of sitting capacity of about 1,000 students. The auditorium is named as Deshpande auditorium.

The campus life of our Institute is very good. Our Institute has beautiful and aesthetic gardens as well as nature. There are many clubs and societies in our Institute. There are also many extracurricular activities that are organized by different clubs. The name of some clubs are Leo club, model club, Rotaract club, sports club, Eco club, and many more. There are not many fests that are organized but an event or fest called fresher of the Year is organized every year by Leo club for B.Tech 1st year students.
