BIT Sindri Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

The infrastructure here is great. The buildings are very big. For every branch, there is different building. The campus has almost 450 acres with great environmental view. The classrooms are also great and can occupy all the students for every branch in their respective classrooms. Libraries have a great books and can prepare you for various other examinations. The labs are great an offer a great learning opportunity. Various improvements are going on in infrastructure as a new complex, a new lecture hall, and a new research centre is being built.

The overall campus life here is great. College crowd is great very good. Number of students appear every year in this college. There are various clubs and societies for every branch. There are various sports activities. Recently, ‘Spardha’ the annual sports event was organized. Another event called Platinum Bleach that is 75th anniversary of BIT Sindri took place recently where all the alumni were invited. The infrastructure at Birsa Institute of Technology, Dhanbad is great. The buildings are built in accordance with the environment that thrives here. Every branch has its own building, a big Administrative building, placement cell building, many lab and workshops. There are three playing grounds here. Recently there are improvements going on as a new research center, lecture hall and a complex is being built and new hostels have been given this year which also is very spacious and it has a big ground in front of it.

The overall campus life at Birsa Institute of Technology, Dhanbad is great. It has a huge crowd of students, teachers and staff. There are many clubs, technical and social like LEO, ROTARACT, IESTE, HNCC, and many more. One can join them by giving screenings and personal interviews that will enhance his or her personality. There are societies for every branch. There are various sports events and competitive events organised that you can be a part of. Recently we celebrated 75th anniversary of BIT Sindri where all aluminizes were invited and had great fun night with songs and dance. We celebrate all festival like Saraswati Puja, Independence Day, Republic Day and many more. The infrastructure of our Institute is very good. It has very beautiful campus and aesthetic design. Our Institute has very old type of building structures because our Institute was established in the year of 1949. The campus size of our Institute is around 450 acre. We have a lecture hall for the classes of first year B.Tech course. BIT Sindri also has a vast and developed central library which contains about 2 lakh books. Our Institute also has enlarge auditorium of sitting capacity of about 1,000 students. The auditorium is named as Deshpande auditorium.

The campus life of our Institute is very good. Our Institute has beautiful and aesthetic gardens as well as nature. There are many clubs and societies in our Institute. There are also many extracurricular activities that are organized by different clubs. The name of some clubs are Leo club, model club, Rotaract club, sports club, Eco club, and many more. There are not many fests that are organized but an event or fest called fresher of the Year is organized every year by Leo club for B.Tech 1st year students.Read Full Review
