Overall Rating
One of the reasons to opt this State Level University is that it is approved by UGC. I'm in 3rd year, and the overall experience at the Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya Indore was good pretty good. The structure of my department is also good and has become good because of new HoD. We are getting good flexibility in academics and the teaching also become well.

Academics Rating
I give CUET exam to secure seat in DAVV Indore and I am pursuing B.Tech + M.Tech, a Dual Degree program in AI and Data Science branch. These days, this course is high in demand. After giving entrance test, you must appear in counselling. They conduct exam in a semester wise pattern. You have to give 3 exams and then you appear in end semester exam.
Fee for my program is around Rs. 40,000/- per semester. You can also get Government & Private Scholarship. There is also concession for students of reserved categories.

Faculty Rating
Teachers in my department are Ph.D holders. Their method of teaching is also good. They teach in white boards and use projectors and slides for better understanding of the students. They mostly focus on praticals. My bonding with teachers is also great.

Placement Rating
As compared to previous few years, Placement Cell of the University has improved a lot. Many companies visit the campus, which jobs to the student’s handsome salary packages. Currently I am in 3rd year and Internships are offered to 4 and 5th year students.

Hostel Rating
Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya Indore also provide hostel but I feel like some amenities & services need an upgrade. There are separate hostels for girls and boys. If you take University hostel, it will cost around Rs. 25,000/- per year. Hostel gates get closed at night (around 10 PM).

Infrastructure Rating
In my department, there is two blocks, first is academic block and second one is office block. The classrooms are good & have proper furniture. They have seating capacity around 40 students. In my department, we have one small library & anyone can use it. Seminar hall and conference room is also present. Canteen is present in front of department.

Campus Rating
My overall experience in my campus was pretty good. My department is not so crowded because intake of students is less. We have several clubs and I am connected with inspire club. Festivals are celebrated here. Many events also take place from time to time. My overall experience is good and I also suggest other students to join this one and become a part of innovation.
