Healthy Crowd & Great Placement Opportunities at DAVV Indore

Overall Rating
The students and faculty members of DAVV Indore are great and supportive. Many clubs in the university will help in your overall personality development. The placement cell of the university is very good and always tries to get the best for its students. Many great companies visit university each year providing great opportunities for sharp minds.
 

Academics Rating
I am in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering. The cutoff of last year for this branch was 91000 rank in JEE Main for general category. Admission is done through MPDTE counseling based on JEE Main rank. 3 mid-sem exams are conducted each semester out of which the marks of best two are added to the result. Each with same test is of 20 marks. So 40 marks are added out of the mid same test and the rest 60 marks out of the end sem test. Marking is done based on grading and CGPA system.
University is affordable and return of money is also very good. Approximately 3.5 Lakh is the total fee for 4 years, which is very good in return for the average package, which is around 7 lakhs. various government scholarships are available in the university like MMVY, post-metric, etc.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty of the college is well qualified and supportive. Most of the faculty members are PhD holders and many are doing their research as well. They hold could knowledge of the subject and the curriculum is also updated. The faculty members are easily approachable, you can either call them directly or contact through your class CR. Test papers are usually made out of what the faculty members teach in class.
 

Placement Rating
The placement data of DAVV Indore is very satisfying. The placement has Govind Maheshwari Sir, who is also supportive. Almost each year big companies like Barclay, Avalara, etc. visit our university. Highest package of E&TC branch this year was 19 Lakh. Average CTC was 6.98 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
There are both girls and boys hostel available in the university and both of them are far apart from each other. Safety is maintained in the campus is good. However the infrastructure and the food facilities of the hostel are not very satisfying.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Books are issued from the library in each semester without any charges. However, if one does not return the book after the end sem exams on time, one has to pay late charges. All the books related to our curriculum are available in the library and one can get them issued. Other than that, the university has lot of scope for improvement in the near future.
 

Campus Rating
Overall campus life and the university crowd are very good. There are many clubs in university like NSS, e-cell a Baha, Hawk, Robotronics, etc. Many great events are conducted in our university. One of them is ‘Akshank’ that is the biggest cultural fest of Central India is also a part of our university. This it can be said that one will not regret taking admission in this university. So go ahead if you are getting this.

    My experience so far has been amazing as it's a Government University and it takes a lot to get admission here. Even I got admission with a lot of struggle but it's totally worth it as I am getting everything which I have expected. The campus is beautiful and fee is also affordable.     The college consists of a small building that has around 10 classrooms. The courses offered here are BA LL.B, LLM, M.Phil, and Ph.D. Here the students are well studios and ample of books are provided for their assistance.   • Environment of my college
     

    Overall Rating
    Our college is one of the best engineering collages in MP. We can get admission here by MP DTE council ling which considers JEE Mains Score. This college gives a lot liberty than other collages in MP to develop our skill rather than just marking attendance. So, we feel so privileged to be able to join this college. But I got mechanical branch as I got 135689 ranks in JEE Mains 2023. So, it is a college for bright student’s only so environment here is very good.... Read Full Review
