I preferred this university because it is located in my resident state and is also renowned as Madhya Pradesh’s one of the best universities in Indore. My experience with this university has been good so far. The professors, teachers, etc. here are qualified and they will provide quality education with experience.

The course is purely based on Economic study. The entry requirements are percentage above 50% in 12th grade and attempt CET/CUET (Common University Entrance Test) which is accepted in DAVV and universities like DU (Delhi University). My motive for enrolling in this program is that I want to pursue my masters and PhD in Economics and go in research field. I also have a keen interest in Economic affairs and engagements along. It also has a vast range of practicality within its topics.

The faculty members are all PhD holders, some completing their PhDs. They are well qualified professors and teachers wherein they hold in depth and great knowledge of what they are teaching and have taught throughout their journey. Some of them also have practical approaches like using real life examples to clear the concept and modern ways of teaching like power point presentations and debates.

Yes, we have a placement cell called E-Cell with very active participating members. There are many posts in the E-Cell committee where each role is important where juniors learn from the seniors. It helps the students in acquiring a good job within the industry with the help of recommendation letters written by professors and our head.

I am a localite, so I don’t reside in the university hostel. As far as I know, the hostel fee ranges from Rs. 5000-8000 per month. It depends on the mess and other facilities provided by the hostels.

The campus consists of many departments like SOC, SOE, SOL, IIPS, IMS, etc. They all are decently built for a government university. The campus also has a central library available for students to access any book for study purposes. Other facilities provided by the university include ‘Vigyan Bhawan’, Auditorium, football grounds, badminton courts, running track, etc. The campus is very beautiful because of its widespread of greenery and blooms all over it. It is well maintained with cleanliness.

The campus life is overall good. Ragging is completely banned in the university as it is a criminal offence and criminal charges can also be filed against the offender. The crowd is good overall. There are many academic and social work clubs formed within the departments. Many fests are organized within the departments and on university level too like Holi fest, DJ nights, traditional day, bollywood day, etc. There are also engagement activities like seminars TEDx DAVV, where famous and reputed personalities like Chairman of RBI, etc. come to give a speech and motivate the pupils in the university. Recently, respected President Draupadi Murmu visisted the campus for the convocation ceremony.
