Poornima College of Engineering which is second in number after JECRC in private colleges. This college has left its mark on the students of the entire country. Not only from this country, but also students from outside this country take admission in this college. What to say about discipline of this college, too many restrictions in rules and regulations. If you do not follow their rules and think that you can go on then it is impossible. This institution is affiliated to Rajasthan Technical University and approved by AICTE & UGC. Admission is done by clearing RPET exam. The way authorities manage college, is awesome. All the time I spent in Poornima Engineering College will be memorable for me.

My rank was 3196 in RPET exam and shortlisted for Poornima College of Engineering with electronics and communication branch. And I was happy when I was getting to do engineering from the college of my choice. My class timings were 8 am to 3 pm and it was necessary for us to attend all the classes. If there was a decrease in our attendance, then we were debarred from the exam. Our practical sessions used to be regular. Our placement preparation was started from the beginning of 6th semester. I am grateful to my college that today I am working in reputed company because of their efforts.

There are different faculty for different subject and not only that, there is a different faculty for practicals. The faculties are highly experienced there. Some of the faculties have been working there for many years, so they are also engaged in their research. They prepared our base so well that we had less difficulty in understanding things from the front. They used to try to explain the topic by giving us practical examples. Because of which we also found it very interesting to read in this way. The faculties there pay attention individually to all and are very supportive. And I also satisfied with my faculties.

This college has a Poornima training and placement office which is responsible for coordinating with the organisations. This college offers placements for all branches. In my time all the companies came that I used to dream about. Top recruiters were TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and many others. Highest package which was Rs. 6 lakh per annum provided by Accenture. Average package was 3.15 lakh per annum in my batch. I was placed in TCS with 3.15 lakh per annum. Eighty percent students were placed in my batch. We were very happy because our college started preparing us for placement for quite some time and because of our college we fulfilled our dream of getting a job.

In my college, provisions of hostel were satisfactory. Girls hostel was on the college campus itself and boys hostel was at a slight walking distance from campus. Hostel rooms are given on double to triple sharing choices with ducting facility. Fee also varied in accordance with double and triple room sharing facility. I was also contented with mess facilities. Mess provided breakfast, lunch, refreshments and dinner. Hostel contains volleyball court, basketball court and table tennis room. There is also a common room in the hostel where group studies were done, tv was watched and there were a lot of fun activities. Security was also amazing there.

Infrastructure of my college is pretty good as every branch has separate floor. Classrooms are moderated and have capacity of 180 students. If we talk about library then it fulfills basic need like daily news papers become available and books are in good numbers. There are all laboratories have air conditioner. These are enriched with good equipments; overall these are well developed laboratories. I was fascinated with auditorium in my college. The standard of the canteen was also very good; a lot of things were available to eat there. Medical facility was also good, an ambulance is also available for emergency. So our college has all the necessary facilities required by us.

According to me, this college offers all colors of college life. Sometimes it seems to go back to my college life. Life was so good at Poornima campus. Annual function, technical festival, farewell, fresher party and many events take place frequently. Students become volunteer in organising events and nurture their soft skills. So they got a lot of opportunities to develop their personality through these events. This is the college where a remarkable balance is made between study and fun. Students can learn discipline along with professionalism from this college. My college life was very exciting and it will always be memorable for me.
