A review on GIMS college

Overall Rating
Talking about the overall experience this college is a great masterpiece. I chose this college because my hometown is Gadag itself. As of my experience this college is a good college because here learning through patients is great. Faculty is great at teaching.
 

Academics Rating
To get into medical field you need to first crack NEET exam which is held once a year. In GIMS Gadag college NEET cutoff is around 585 marks for general category students. MBBS is 5.5 year course where 4.5 year is for studying and 1 year for internship where government pays us salary for working. After that we need to do rural service bond to get a degree certificate.
 

Faculty Rating
In north Karnataka it has got one of the best faculties with well experienced teachers who hold the post graduation degree. Each department of 1st year MBBS has around 8 members of faculty who are experienced. The way the teachers teach is really awesome. They use projectors, ppts, 3d diagrams and other resources to teach us. Regarding academics GIMS has no negatives.
 

Placement Rating
As you all know that MBBS degree has lot of opportunities. Government provides internship facility for students.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel is available for both girls and boys. Hostel is good in its infrastructure. Extracurricular activities are conducted regularly in hostels.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus is big enough to roam around. GIMS college has got big buildings. It has got good infrastructure. Classrooms can easily accommodate 150 members at a time. College has a large library with many books to read. Hospital is large with many patients outflow. Canteen is available for students to chill around.
 

Campus Rating
Campus is huge to roam around. Overall it’s a good campus. Patient’s crowd is large and we can treat them with proper diagnosis and treatment. Hospital has got best equipment to treat patients. Programs are conducted regularly to entertain students along with academics. Extracurricular activities are conducted regularly for students.

    Gadag is the place near to my hometown so in my home everyone decided to admit me to this college. It has nice infrastructure, well developed social environment, and hospital is really cool and filled with the patients. It has got one of the best campus in North Karnataka.
