The institute campus is widely diversified and the entire medical department is provided with different academic blocks. Basically medical seats in India are allotted based on the rank or marks scored in the medical entrance exam conducted by India.

According to me, the medical faculty members available in Gadag Institute of Medical Sciences are exceptionally awesome. They are highly knowledgeable professionals. They have very high knowledge about their subjects. They must have compulsorily completed a Post graduation course in that particular subject. The method of teaching is good. The professors use PPT for the explanation purpose. Many Small group discussions and group teaching are conducted here. Students are also required to present seminar on the topics allotted to them. The students to teacher ratio are not bad. Each department has one HOD, 2 associate professors, 2 assistant professors and 2 post graduate students.

Generally MBBS graduated students do not prefer to do a job with a MBBS gradation only. Many prefer to peruse any one of the post graduation in the field in which they are interested in. So Gadag Institute of Medical Sciences does not offer any placement facility.

Yes, Gadag Institute of Medical Sciences provides the accommodation facility for both boys and girls. Speaking about the boy’s hostel, different hostel blocks are provided for inters residents and others. The hostel building has 7 floors. Each floor has 30 rooms. Each hostel room is provided with attached washroom facility. 3 students are to be stayed in one room. Metal cots and study table with chair is provided in each room. The mess facility is also available in the hostel. They will provide food three times a day. The mess fees are Rs. 2,800 – Rs. 2,900 per month. The hostel fees are Rs. 42,000 for first year and Rs. 24,000 from second year.

The campus of Gadag Institute of Medical Sciences is build very spaciously in a large area with the building constructed diversely. The roads inside the campus are also maintained well. For first year MBBS students the institute has 2 buildings. One is a spacious lecture hall which accommodates almost 150 students. Other building has three floors. Each floor is for each subject. This is the building or block where the dissection of anatomy and all the practical will be conducted. The institute has well maintained labs will all the required lab equipment. Library is also available 24/7 for all the students.
