A Review on Teerthanker Mahaveer University

Overall Rating
I got enrolled in this university in November 2021. I found the university campus has a good environment and surroundings. It has several colleges consisting of different courses such as Medical, Engineering, Law and more. My first year experience is good but overall the university is average. The teaching style of the faculty members is good.
 

Academics Rating
I am in 6th semester now. You need a minimum of 60 percentages in 12th class to get an admission in B.Tech. The course is technical and provides you with practical skills and knowledge related to modern technology. The modern era is about technology and I am passionate about it from my childhood.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty is not very supportive. The lectures are sometimes boring. Too many assignments are provided to the students. Teaching methods are very orthodox. Some of the professors are Ph.D holders and IITians. Sometimes they just provide you with ppt or online notes. They don’t complete the syllabus properly.
 

Placement Rating
Yes we have a placement cell at our institute. Most of the students are placed every year. Sometimes mechanical and electrical students get placed in IT jobs or Marketing field due to which they can’t work up to their capacity. Most of the students prefer to get job off campus as placement opportunities are average in this university.
 

Infrastructure Rating
College infrastructure is well developed and all facilities are provided to the students. There is a healthy environment provided to the students such as hospital, restaurant, café, salon, sports complex and many more. Proper transport facilities are provided by university for students to get connected with the town outside.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life was not good in past 3 years. There is some mismanagement or lack of interest among students. The management of university is very strict and do not provide proper resources in some fields. Fests are organised in 2 or 3 years. Different clubs are there in the campus but they are not active.

    Pursuing B.Tech in Teerthanker Mahaveer University is a good decision. I got direct admission here and the curriculum is also good. Teachers are also supportive, and the infrastructure is also very good. Tech fests and sports events are conducted regularly.     Teerthanker Mahaveer University’s campus provides a familiar and a comfortable environment for new comers as well. The whole campus is under CCTV surveillance.     The university is situated a little outside of Moradabad but there is no difficulty in reaching the university by auto. University is overall rated 4 points out of 5 according to me. 1 point is less due to the placements.     The overall experience at the Teerthankar Mahaveer University is just phenomenal as it provides everything at the best possible way. The faculty members and the staff are also very supportive and encouraging. It is AICTE approved and also rated by NAAC as A+. The campus is just enormous and beautifully designed....     It may look like I'm bluffing, but trust me I am not. Guidance and support is what a student looks out the most and here, in TMU everyone including faculty members and students are really helpful. I may be part of this outstanding and NAAC A+ graded University for almost a year and a half but I've listened to everyone talking in my family and circle about how this university delivers exactly what a student needs in achieving the goals and for securing his/her future for the best....
