My experience at TMU

Overall Rating
Pursuing B.Tech in Teerthanker Mahaveer University is a good decision. I got direct admission here and the curriculum is also good. Teachers are also supportive, and the infrastructure is also very good. Tech fests and sports events are conducted regularly. Some restrictions are there for the first-year students but overall, you will surely enjoy your college life in TMU.
 

Academics Rating
You can take admission in TMU through the CUET exam or you can take admission directly. TMU offers various branches in B.Tech like Computer Science, Computer Science and Engineering, AI&ML, IT, etc. The attendance criteria are not very strict, but you have to maintain 75% attendance to appear for the examination.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty of TMU is very supportive. They have good knowledge of their subject and have the ability to complete the syllabus in considerable time. Most of the teachers are Ph.D holders. Some of them are strict but majority of them are helpful in nature. The class coordinators are also very supportive and helpful. A Mentor is assigned to every student.
 

Placement Rating
Overall, the placements are very good. Approximately 75% of students got placed last year.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are too many academic blocks in Teerthanker Mahaveer University. Libraries and canteens are also available for students and the food quality at the canteen is good. You can easily spend your time there as it’s a good spot to relax. The university is covered with green plants and trees. A cricket stadium, basketball court, kabaddi court and indoor badminton court is also available.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is very good here and there are many clubs that you can participate in. You can take part in various events, fests and hackathons as well. The first year or first semester could be boring but later it gets better, and you can enjoy and make many memories with your friends.

    The university is situated a little outside of Moradabad but there is no difficulty in reaching the university by auto. University is overall rated 4 points out of 5 according to me. 1 point is less due to the placements. It has several colleges consisting of different courses such as Medical, Engineering, Law and more. My first year experience is good but overall the university is average. Guidance and support is what a student looks out the most and here, in TMU everyone including faculty members and students are really helpful. I may be part of this outstanding and NAAC A+ graded University for almost a year and a half but I've listened to everyone talking in my family and circle about how this university delivers exactly what a student needs in achieving the goals and for securing his/her future for the best....
