Honest Review - Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology

Overall Rating
The overall experience of the college is quite good. The reason for joining this college is its decent Return of Investment. The fees of the college per year are around 1 lakh 20 thousand including AKTU exam fees. So overall B.Tech costs around 5 lakh for the 4 consecutive years. The average package of the college is 3-4 LPA so a decent ROI.
 

Academics Rating
The course that I am pursuing in this college is B.Tech with the branch Computer Science. The entry requirements for this is the student marks in class 12th and JEE Mains. Every student who has completed his or her 12th from any of the school is eligible for this course. The motive for enrolling in this course is that I want to be a software engineer in any of the MNCs of the world like Google, Microsoft etc.
 

Faculty Rating
On the behalf of the last 1.5 years in the college I experienced that the faculty members of the college were average in teaching. Most of the teachers are graduate and post graduate in their subjects. A very few of them are Ph.D holders in their subjects. The style of the teaching of the teachers is from average to good.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, our college has a placement cell which is responsible for placing students in the respective companies. A decent number of companies come in our college for placing students. The average package was 3-4 LPA while the lowest package was around 2 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, our college has a hostel facility. The hostel life of this college is average. The facilities provided to the student opting for hostel are - A 2 bed or 3 bed rooms, a table and a chair. The food of the mess of the hostel is also average.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The overall infrastructure of the college is average. The students can get their academic books from the respective libraries. There are various blocks in our college like Vishvesaraye block, Ajim Premji Block, Bhabha Block, Ratan Tata block, Academic block etc. The above blocks are the names of the respective buildings of the college.
 

Campus Rating
The overall campus life of the college is average. There are a decent number of events occurred in our college. Various fests are also organised in this college. The Kolahal is the annual event in which famous singers came. In my time, Aastha Gill came. There are also various clubs in our college for the students to increase their connections likewise Google Developer Student Clubs, MIET, Computer Society of India MIET etc.

    So about this college I must say go for it because of its fee structure if a person wants better education and with lower tuition fees then this college is for you.     Our institute was established in the year 1997. This institute got 4th rank among all the engineering colleges in Uttar Pradesh. This institute is affiliated with AKTU University (UP), and is accredited by NAAC, this institute got "B++" grade. Almost 1400 students studied here. There are 28 courses which are provided by in the university including UG and PG courses. The campus has a well-established infrastructure with good placement support.
