MIET institute experience

Overall Rating
Our institute was established in the year 1997. This institute got 4th rank among all the engineering colleges in Uttar Pradesh. This institute is affiliated with AKTU University (UP), and is accredited by NAAC, this institute got "B++" grade. Almost 1400 students studied here. There are 28 courses which are provided by in the university including UG and PG courses. The campus has a well-established infrastructure with good placement support. All kind of other facilities like scholarship facility is available; campus is total ragging free institute.
 

Academics Rating
They provide 28 courses including UG and PG courses. In UG course, they provide B.Tech and Lateral B.Tech. In PG course, they provide courses like MBA, MCA, MCA Lateral, M.Tech and M.Pharma. I chose B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering and for this course I appeared for JEE Main exam and got a good rank in it. I went through counseling and got admission. My motive to join this institute is that it provides uncountable placement support and course fee is less that is Rs 100000 per year.
 

Faculty Rating
Our institute has the best faculty ever because of their teaching methodology. They provide best teaching experience and most of them have completed their M.Tech. They are having 7+ years of experience. Our non-teaching faculty is also good; they help us in practical exams. The classrooms have projectors with the help of which teachers teach through graphical presentation.
 

Placement Rating
Placement support is best. The companies like GIGABYTE, Plaxonic Technologies, Paytm, Infosys, TCS, Hexaware Technologies, and Genpact comes for placement drive. As of 2021-2022, the institute has a highest package of 5 LPA and average package of 3.5 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
Our institute consists of 2 boys’ hostel with 900 beds and 1 girl’s hostel with 300 beds. Hostel fees range is Rs 75000 per year. There is availability of 24x7 electricity backup, purified drinking water and hot water for winter season. There is a gymnasium, T.V., and availability of cleaning facilities. Food quality is quite acceptable with different taste menu.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The classrooms are very clean. Most of the classrooms have projectors. The labs provide air conditioning facilities, central library with all books, magazines, newspapers, xerox facility, sports ground like indoor and outdoor sports ground present. Medical facilities, ATM facilities are also available 24x7.
 

Campus Rating
Our campus life is fully enjoyable. There are so many social clubs available like, Gym club, Sanskriti club, and Sports committee. Our institute conducts tech fest, in the name of “TechSpardha”. Some of the other fests like Kolahal, Rangostsav are also celebrated. All the festivals are celebrated with lots of enjoy and with togetherness.

    The overall experience of the college is quite good. The reason for joining this college is its decent Return of Investment. The fees of the college per year are around 1 lakh 20 thousand including AKTU exam fees. So overall B.Tech costs around 5 lakh for the 4 consecutive years.
