Pallavi Engineering College B.Tech Review By Kotamraju Aniketh

My overall experience at this institute was average. The faculty was so good and friendly with every student. Their support for students was very good. Coming to sports, infrastructure and academics, they were not up to my expectations in my 4 years of B.Tech life. But I enjoyed every moment with my friends and some faculty members.

I studied Computer Science Engineering in this institute. Coming to the academics this course was the only one in our college to have more strength than other courses. When I got a seat for my course the cutoff was around 90000 EAMCET rank. It may have decreased now because our institute is an autonomous institution so some rules and eligibility requirements may change. CSE is now a booming course so I enrolled in this course program.

The faculty behavior used to be very good with every student. Some faculty didn't have proper knowledge about the subject they used to teach. But some faculty has very good subject knowledge. Some have done Ph.D also and their way of teaching used to be different from others. In my 4 years, I didn't have any problem with my core faculty. They were very friendly and supportive.

Coming to the placements our college is worst. There are very less students in our batch who got placed and comparing to the situation in job market we know it is not good but we did not get at least startups or small companies. The people who got job, most of them got their jobs from outside. They applied for walk-ins and they worked hard. Only limited people got placed from our college placements and that too without any training from our college. They took 5000 from us for placement training and they refunded our money back because no one got jobs from placements even after so many days.

Our campus was not so big. It was decent with limited facilities. We did not have a proper canteen, the food contract used to change for like every 15 days. The food in canteen was always limited and taste was not okay. Coming to the sports facilities, it was not up to my expectations a small ground for cricket with no maintenance and for other sports no proper equipment was there. The college was full of trees. Some washrooms and labs were not maintained properly. Library used to be maintained decently but only limited stock of books used to be there. There are only 2 blocks in the entire college one block is a big one and other is medium.

The overall campus life was ok comparing to other colleges. This campus life is average for me. The crowd in our college was not too much as our campus was also very small. When I was studying there was no clubs at all now it may change because now it is autonomous so they will follow everything to get a good name. Coming to the fests, every year 1 fest, traditional events, technical events for 2 times a year and so many other activities like industrial visit, haritha haram, and many more were organised by the college. Overall in every aspect for me my college was an average institution and the faculty of our course was very good and supportive.
