The American College Madurai is providing higher education since 1881. The old building Main Hall, James Hall and Weshburn Hall show Legacy of the college. This is one of the best educational institutions for higher education in Tamilnadu. American College Madurai admission process is quite easy than compare with other institutions in Madurai. To get enrolled in this college, the student needs to submit his/her 12th mark sheet and passport size photo with application form. After filling that, the respective department will call you by mail if you are eligible for the course you have applied for. All the students can easily approach the management for the changes they wish in the academics.

I have completed B.Com CA in the American College. They provided me the course by merit-based ranking prior to +2 marks. There was no entrance exam for me as I was selected through merit-based ranking system. I love calculating accounts and I am very much interested in this subject. This course can offer a job, but post graduation in it can offer huge scope for better earning.

There are faculty 14 for commerce. They have a better experience and great knowledge in teaching. Most of the staffs are Ph.D master. Yes they do teach us the subject as well.

There is training and placement cell. If there were no placement but once we left the college, whenever the college students get placed.

There are three separate hostels. Two for boys and one for girls. The total hostel fees per year is 26,000 for accommodation. CCTV cameras are available. The quality of food is too good.

The square feet of the college are over 7200. The building are made up of red brick. More than 30 block including all the department. The largest library in Madurai present in our college campus.

There is NCC, NSS, PED and SLP is some of the human growth and social aspects of our college. Many seminars are held to interact and also to guide the upcoming graduates with experience of the successful alumni. Fresher parties and farewell party are held in every year.
