Overall Rating
I choose B.Tech computer science and engineering at Kalasalingam University, Madurai, and Tamilnadu. I have chosen this campus because of good reputation of college. Pleasant nature located nearby by hills good nature. This university has good nirf ranking and has NAAC grade A++. Kalasalingam University is good at academics. There is 100% placement. Good Infrastructure.
 

Academics Rating
Courses could be made more on an elective basis, and some consistency with professors would have been great to be seen. Also, the courses offered should be upgraded with respect to the current market trends and demands. Professors are with good knowledge and friendly with students. They provide good practical knowledge to the students through rigorous practice and tests. There are many branches like CSE -IT, AIML, Data Analytics, Cyber security, etc. Fee will be varied from one course to other.
 

Faculty Rating
In Kalasalingam University they will intake the faculty who are good at academics and have practical knowledge. Faculty are very friendly with students. They give daily practice work to students to gain the knowledge of the core subjects. The faculty will work very hard for student's future. They are very good at communication. They work very hard that every student should get a placement. They provide regular assignments. They will guide the students regularly and motivate them.
 

Placement Rating
In our university there is 100% placement. Many students bagged more than three offers from different companies. Many core companies visit our college. Students are placed in many MNCs. The highest package is around 50 LPA. The average package is around 5 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostel environment is very good. They provide very healthy and hygienic food. Warden here are very friendly but when it comes to any misleading activities the students will get severely punished or it may leads to suspension of college also. Regular attendance will be taken. Every student is monitored carefully. When it comes to security there are many CC cameras to observe any misleading activities.
 

Infrastructure Rating
When it comes to infrastructure our college has very large Central Library. Where every book is available to study. They allow students to take books to prepare for competitive exams and also for placements. In our we have separate blocks for CSE, ECE, EEE, MECHANICAL, CIVIL, ARCHITECTURE, BIO MEDICAL, etc. There is very big auditorium where cultural activities will run and many events will be held like hackathon.
 

Campus Rating
I am very happy for choosing this campus. I have enjoyed a lot. It is just nearby Madurai City. Where we can visit many tourist places like Meenakshi temple, Kanyakumari, Rameshwaram, Kodaikanal, Coimbatore, and many more. For every week there will be flash mob. Every year they will conduct the largest event that is "SPARKZ". The rules and regulations are very strict. Hostel gate for girls it will be closed by 6:00 PM and for boys it will be 8:00 PM. There will be no pressure on students.

    My experience was very good at my Institute; it was huge as campus hostels are provided just at the same place of the campus. You do not need to travel more than 200 meters for reaching it, there are many blocks here and the placements are also very nice.     My overall experience at this institute was not bad. This university brokers had came to my college for registrations when am in my intermediate 2nd year. After their presentation about this university attracts me so I have registered by paying the fee required after 3 months they called me to join in university. The main thing is there were all telugu people only there I came here to improve communication skills by speaking with other state people but the scene is different here.... Read Full Review
