Comprehensive review on Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education

Overall Rating
I had a great experience at my college. It has suitable facilities and is now accredited by NBA A++ with overall 36th rank in NIRF. I am pursuing B.Tech CSE with AIML which has a good future in software industries. It is a deemed to be university so we don't have strict rules.
 

Academics Rating
My course is Computer Science and Engineering specialization in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Eligibility criteria for getting admission are to be passed 12th grade and qualified JEE entrance exam. You can use your JEE score card to get scholarship from our college based on your marks or if you have 80% in your 12th grade you can get 20 % concession in your tuition fee.
 

Faculty Rating
Our faculty members are good at teaching and content delivery. They are very friendly in nature. Most of the faculty members have doctorate degree in their particular domain. They guide you through your projects and internships which will be very useful during your placements. You can also choose your faculty in each semester.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, the college provides placement services. It has 80-90% placement record but you have to work to get your job.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, we have nearly 5 boy’s hostels and 2 girl’s hostels. Hostel room sizes vary based on the fee and food is average. There are no recreational activities provided to hostel students.
 

Infrastructure Rating
We have a huge campus that is built over 600 acres of land. There will be small problem to walk from one academic block to another because each one is somewhat far from one another. We are also provided with the facility of campus Wi-Fi.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life was average for me but it's good for rural area students. We have huge students strength meaning there will be crowd in our campus always. We have many clubs and each club organizes fests based on their domain. We also have national level fest like Sparks.

    My experience was very good at my Institute; it was huge as campus hostels are provided just at the same place of the campus. You do not need to travel more than 200 meters for reaching it, there are many blocks here and the placements are also very nice.     My overall experience at this institute was not bad. This university brokers had came to my college for registrations when am in my intermediate 2nd year. After their presentation about this university attracts me so I have registered by paying the fee required after 3 months they called me to join in university.
