Nirmala College of Engineering Chalakkudy B.Tech Review By Adithyaraj

In Nirmala College of Engineering Chalakkudy is located in Meloor. College is located 11 km away from the Chalakkudy. In Nirmala College all colleges are in same campus. They have arts and science college, pharmacy college, polytechnic college, and engineering. Engineering college is in the main block. The facilities are good and all programs will be nice. All programs will grand because all college together contacting program or events. There are only some problems like engineering has less number of students. In their only computer science department having strength in students. Mechanical and civil students don't come to this college. One more thing is their bus fee issue, engineering students only having 4 month class but they want to pay 6 month bus fees in a semester. When I go to Nirmala College for my admission for BCA, but they change our mind to B.Tech for their benefits. Please don't change your mind when they confusing us.

In Nirmala College of Engineering Chalakkudy, there are only 3 departments. One is computer science department there we have only 6 staff. In there they have computer science engineering, B.Tech artificial intelligence, and B.Tech cyber security are the three courses in their department. In mechanical department having more than 6 staff and they have 2 courses in mechanical and mechatronics. Last department civil, they have 4 staff. If you are passed 12th exam then you can join in these college. In this college there is no other eligibility.

First year teacher, some teacher is good but teachers of mathematics are flop teachers. Mechanical and computer science, some teachers are very good. But civil is very bad. All department heads will be acting like so much caring of us but they real character is very bad. Computer Science HOD class was very good but next year she will leave this college.

In arts and science and another college are so lucky because B.Tech student’s company placement also will be hiring them. But comparing to other engineering colleges like vidhya, jothi, sahrdhaya, etc. colleges, high placement will not get.

Facilities are good in computer science department and mechanical. Electrical labs are very poor.

In college main block or center of the college is engineering block and right side of college arts and science college, back side and right side corner pharmacy and left side and back some parts full are polytechnic blocks. In engineering main block at 2nd floor in left side computer science block and right side mechanical and civil block. Junior or first year students are in the center portion.

Sports are good but there is only one coach for all colleges of Nirmala. If you want to participate college levels you want take efforts to go, some time they will not allow that and they will give you practice or anything. Break time, if you went to canteen then you will late for next period because the canteen is far away from our block. If you get good friends then you can enjoy. In this college they will not give you a good campus life. Only they give some events common to all Niramala Colleges.
