Review of Acharya Bangalore B-School, Bangalore

Overall Rating
I got admission in this college through an agent, but by the time I got to know the true colors of this college, it was too late. I would recommend science aspirants to steer clear from this college, as it does not deliver anything promised. You could rather have a look at other colleges in and around Bangalore, but do not choose this college even by mistake.
 

Academics Rating
No such pre-requisites for applying, the same 60% aggregate in 10th and 12th will get you into this college. The program has pretty much standardised stuff, nothing makes it stand out from other colleges. But the only silver lining is that it is affordable for a majority of students, compared to other colleges offering B.Sc. The fee comes around to 240000 for the whole course.
 

Faculty Rating
The most annoying thing about the science department is that there are only a handful of professors. Classes do happen regularly but the students will have a hard time understanding the concepts taught. At the end of the day, you have to rely heavily on the notes provided, during the exam. The professors are reachable by the students, though.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure is probably the only plus point in the college. Students are heavily influenced by the infrastructure as well, while taking admission. There are dedicated blocks for departments, laboratory for B.Sc students, well stocked library, and a well equipped gym. The classrooms are big and spacious as well.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is pretty much nonexistent. But you could make good friends, as the crowd is majorly quite good. There is one annual fest named Regalia, but it has only been conducted once since 2021. There are certain events conducted every year such as Ethnic Day, Kannada Rajyotsava, Onam, etc. But on all such days, there are regular classes.

    The college is based in the metropolitan city of Bangalore, it’s a 15km drive from the centre of Bangalore, situated in the area called Andrahalli, the college offers multiple courses and in campus placement facilities. With a wide range of courses to choose from, the college also has a great canteen and very understanding staff.     As a recent graduate of ABBS Bangalore, all I can say that I had fun but the placements can be little better. It focuses on both the academics and the extracurricular activities which I will always cherish.     This college fit my budget and had great reviews on websites and social media. The institute has not disappointed me yet, although it has grounds for improvement.
