My Experience in Maharshi Dayanand University

Overall Rating
My experience in this university is fabulous. The university has a huge campus. I want to pursue higher studies in mathematics and the math department of this university has the best faculty and good placement rates. The university life helps you in the overall improvement of personality. The teaching method of all faculties is good.
 

Academics Rating
The course is of duration 5 years with permission to exit after 3 years with graduation degree. For entry into the course, you must have mathematics at 12th level. You have to submit a form through the official college website. Entrance exam consists of 100 questions with no negative marking. The paper level is moderate.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members are well experienced and well educated. They are at professor and assistant professor posts. As sometimes when they are busy, they send their Ph.D scholars to teach student so that they also get experience. Their style of teaching is very good. Department also has the facility of three computer labs.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, there is special Placement Cell for conducting placement drives. It conducts placement drives every week.
 

Hostel Rating
I am a hostel student. The accommodation facility is very good. There is accommodation of 2 students per room. Hostel has specific mess, computer lab, reading hall, and resting area. The university has 10 boys’ and 10 girls’ hostels each having capacity of 240 students.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus has a huge area. Campus includes library, multiple reading hall, sports complex, and different buildings for each department. Sports facilities include swimming pool, athletic track, cricket, squash, basketball, volleyball, and football. The campus has facilities for the student who are preparing for services selection board. Campus has student activity center, rose garden, and parking facilities.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is very good various fest are organised in the university from time to time- including induction program, rang bahar, diwali fest, Holi fest, cultural fest, sportech event, etc. The campus has various student organisations that help students if they need it. Some students organisation are INSO (Indian national student organization), NSUI (national student union of India), ABVP, etc.

    Maharshi Dayanand University is overall good. Its infrastructure is really good. The library, labs, garden, and all facilities are awesome here. Faculty of Maharshi Dayanand University is also very nice. Their teaching method is good but placement is not so good here we have to try off campus placement if we are eligible. only 30 to 40 percent students get the on campus placement as only few companies visit here.... It’s a good place if you are clear about your goals and stay focused. The teachers are supportive if you reach out to them, and they complete the syllabus on time.     I am Aditya, enrolled in ECE 2024-2028 batch. The overall review of mine about this university is average. If you have come mainly for studies, be very specific in choosing your friends, the teachers are helpful if you need them and they complete the syllabus on time.     My college life was very good. It is the best university that provides you with every opportunity that a student wants. The main attraction of this university is the large size of the campus (622 acres) and also the campus is ranked 1st in cleanliness rating. It has every facility including cricket stadium, swimming pool, athletic track, squash court, tennis court, volleyball, kabaddi, basketball, and many more.
