Overall, the experience in this college is okay but mostly bad; the only good thing about this college is its fee. It’s low as compared to other B.Tech colleges. So, according to the fee, the experience is okay. There are very less number of faculties. Some of the faculties here are rude. Also, the campus is unsafe for girls and the hostel entry timing is 6:15 pm which is very early. The hostel food tastes so bad. The bathroom is always dirty and they don’t even provide water cooler in the summer. The mindset of each and every person here is backward. If I could get a chance to go back in time, I would never choose this college.

The academic here is not so good. I took admission in B.Tech course from JCECEB counselling by appearing for JEE mains. I got a free seat because of decent percentile but if you did not manage to score well in mains, then you can get payment seat, the only difference is in fees. Free seat is much more affordable than payment seat. Although, payment seat is also affordable, but not worth it for this college. Also you can get entry through management quota, too. My motive for enrolling in this program was to get a B.Tech degree so that I can appear for GATE examination.

Faculties of B.Tech course here are not so good. They are not so helpful and supportive. Their behavior is kind of rude. Also, the worst part is; their mindset and way of thinking is totally backward. Also, the way they teach in class is not so great. They never use any interesting techniques, also sometimes they will teach you wrong. They don’t teach to the core. They even struggle to complete the syllabus before semester end. Although, some of the faculties here are good but the mindset is still backward.

There is no Placement Cell and rarely any company visits here. Also, if any company visits, then college chooses some of the students close to them to sit for the placement interviews without giving any information to other students, which is very unfair.

Yes, the yearly fee for hostel is 20k in first year and 15k for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th years. The mess charges are 3300 per month. The food quality provided according to the price is terrible. Without pickles, horlicks, jam, etc., it’s nearly impossible to eat the mess food. The washroom is not always clean and it is not attached to the room. Each room consists of 3 beds, 3 study tables, and one cupboard.

Infrastructure of this college is poor; no improvement has taken place since the day the college started (2013). The walls are broken and the paint has a lot of dirt. The worst part is that you have to climb a mountain to go the classes and main admin building daily because the hostel is down the mountain. Also, there are no facilities provided for this issue. The trees and bushes are not well nourished or taken care of.

Campus life is okay only because of the biggest annual cultural event ‘Zephyr’. They also conduct a tech fest named ‘Navkriti’. Small events keep taking place which makes the campus life a little interesting. But the college is located in a very backward place which is 10 km away from the main city. The transportation is very poor which leads to many difficulties. No basic need stores like stationary or ration store are located nearby, so for minor things you have to travel 10 km. You will find no autos or rickshaws to go the market. Only a few modes of transportation are available. So, there are no malls or stores or any normal places to hangout nearby which makes the campus life dull.
