Chaibasa Engineering College Chaibasa Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

Infrastructure of this college is poor; no improvement has taken place since the day the college started (2013). The walls are broken and the paint has a lot of dirt. The worst part is that you have to climb a mountain to go the classes and main admin building daily because the hostel is down the mountain. Also, there are no facilities provided for this issue. The trees and bushes are not well nourished or taken care of.

Campus life is okay only because of the biggest annual cultural event ‘Zephyr’. They also conduct a tech fest named ‘Navkriti’. Small events keep taking place which makes the campus life a little interesting. But the college is located in a very backward place which is 10 km away from the main city. The transportation is very poor which leads to many difficulties. No basic need stores like stationary or ration store are located nearby, so for minor things you have to travel 10 km. You will find no autos or rickshaws to go the market. Only a few modes of transportation are available. So, there are no malls or stores or any normal places to hangout nearby which makes the campus life dull.Read Full Review

Infrastructure of the college is good. There are 2 boys’ hostels and 1 girls’ hostel. There are different buildings for different branches such as CSE building, civil building, mechanical building, electrical building, and more. There are different buildings for workshops. Campus is good. There is greenery in the college, mostly in monsoon.

Campus life is good; there are many students. There are many clubs and two fests are held. The bigger fest and cultural fest is Zephyr and the other is tech fest which is Navkriti. There is a twenty one days induction program for new batch for knowing the college well and to know about their campus and nearby areas.Read Full Review

Buildings are good. Every different department has different labs. College buildings are old but well maintained. There are many class rooms for different years’ students. Campus is of 44 acres. Campus life is joyful, it is not as expected but average. You can explore greenery inside the campus. Boys’ hostel is also there. One big, beautiful seminar hall is also there.

This is the state engineering college so you'll not have fun and opportunities like IITs and NITs but it is good in comparison to other private colleges. Every year, there is a big cultural fest and tech fest which is very joyful. You can take part and explore. Cultural fest is Zephyr and tech fest is Navkriti.
