Review for Shoolini University

Overall Rating
Overall, experience in this university is quite unique to be honest. This university offers a great atmosphere to live in and stay. Shoolini University offered this particular B.Sc biotechnology course with 1 year dedicated to research after 3 years which made me choose this particular university.
 

Academics Rating
B.Sc in biotechnology is basically a researcher's first step. I had my interests in research part thus, this course was the best for me and it also offered good research facilities in the university thus, helping us to pursue our dreams. Entry requirements are 65% in 12th boards and people above 65% are eligible to take admission.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty here is quite educated with professors with experience of more than 10-15 years. Our dean has studied and graduated in America and like him; there are teachers who have completed their research work/Ph.D abroad from renowned universities. They all are well equipped with technology and use newer methods to teach their particular subjects and make it more interesting.
 

Placement Rating
In our field, we do not require placements as such, because most students opt for M.Sc after B.Sc.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel is good here and thus, makes it a good experience to live in hostels. Rooms are quite spacious and food is quite normal.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus has a number of blocks interconnected thus, the campus is not big. This is due to the location of mountains. Campus is small and not that big. But overall, it has every required building and good buildings in terms of architecture. Classrooms are quite spacious and big. Labs are also big. Gym, badminton court, cricket ground, basketball court, library, and cancer research lab are other amenities in this university.
 

Campus Rating
Life in this university is good overall, with things happening in the university every month; the life is good here. Crowd here is mostly modern and from places far from here. Most are from Himachal but people come from a lot of places. Clubs are present for every person and their needs. Fests happen every year and it is a 7/10 experience here.

    Green campus is the beauty of this university and this is acutely number 1 university of Himachal Pradesh. Shoolini University is located in Kashuali hills in Solan which is a very beautiful place of Himachal.     Most of the students including me were very keen to get into this university located in the mountains, but we all got a little disappointed as the experience is unique but not what we expected. Living in mountains in not an easy task, going to the classes is a hassle, the campus size is comparatively smaller to what other universities offer.   • Shoolini University fees a bit high in terms of academics and facilities

    First I would like to tell you about the location of the university. Shoolini University is situated in the middle of the mountains. The weather here remains cool and pleasant for twelve months of the year. Years spent in university were the best 3 years of my life. I completed my graduation in microbiology from here.
