Review of the College in the Mountains

Overall Rating
Overall, my experience at this university was normal at the first glance. I felt the university was aesthetic in the infrastructure. That is the main reason I took admission in this university. This university is situated on the outskirts of the city, thus the travel to this university felt a bit long.
 

Academics Rating
Eligibility for this course for this university wasn't mentioned as such. Anyone willing to take admission was admitted to this university. This university offered this course to the students who had completed their 12th examination and have passed. Course is of 5 years for a bachelor's degree. My main motive for entering this course was to get exposure to the real world.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty is well educated and experienced, while some of them are also experienced in real life as lawyers. While some of the teachers come well prepared with PDFs and PPTs to explain, some come without any preparations, speak about the topic, and want students to do all of it by themselves.
 

Placement Rating
Our course doesn't offer placements as such but of course they do offer real life exposure.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel in this university is quite good relatively; this university offers a good hostel including the rooms and food. There are different rooms available in different budget sections, but all are good enough.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure is quite good in this university as they provide us with enough amounts of buildings and rooms to study, they also have open air theatre, basket ball court, gym, badminton court, cricket ground, open garden to relax, and a good library for students to sit and study. There are separate buildings for each course field.
 

Campus Rating
College life is quite good here. It provides a good ambiance to live in; the mountains give a better experience to the students. Campus' functions are also a major thing; every now and then functions do happen in this university. Fests are also good in here and have a good experience.

Shoolini University is located in Kashuali hills in Solan which is a very beautiful place of Himachal.     Most of the students including me were very keen to get into this university located in the mountains, but we all got a little disappointed as the experience is unique but not what we expected. Living in mountains in not an easy task, going to the classes is a hassle, the campus size is comparatively smaller to what other universities offer.
