The Best Place to Study

Overall Rating
At first when I joined this college, I thought it's pretty boring but after a few days I started to feel good and had a great learning experience here. I must say that this college is absolutely the best in South Kolkata and provides good education to the students, as well. College life is great for me.
 

Academics Rating
The overall subjects and academics are very good here. Students prepare here for their upcoming future based on the streams they have chosen. The exam pattern typically follows semester wise examinations. The requirement to be a part of this college is to get minimum 75 percent in class 12 board exams.
 

Faculty Rating
The students and teachers interaction is very good here. They are very friendly towards their students also, the staff members are very good here. Whenever a student faces any difficulty in terms of studies then these teachers are always there to help them. I must say that it feels good that I got these faculties here.
 

Placement Rating
The college doesn't provide any placements here.
 

Hostel Rating
They don't have hostel facilities.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus is very huge and it's very spacious as well. The facilities available here are very good; each floor has a water purifier attached to the wall. The canteen is also very big and they provide quality food at a very reasonable price. Just the washrooms need to be cleaned.
 

Campus Rating
The overall campus life I can say is the best as of now, as per my experience. The first year is very good for freshers. They enjoy a very good life. The students union here is also supportive and they organise freshers’ party so well. Apart from that, they are also responsible for organising fests.

    I have just completed my graduation from this college you should definitely take admission in this college, classes are taken regularly, teachers are extremely helpful.     I have done my Geography Hons from this Institute, so I think I can give you a true description and review of the faculty and teaching method. By having a B.Sc. it's more important to be concerned about practical part of the subject. Heramba Chandra College provides adequate practical work equipment and environment. The college has limited seats in B.Sc. in Geography Honors which also leads to a positive impact in classroom as it helps teachers to identify the mistakes done by students. They pro...     Before 2015 (when I took admission), Professor Monilal Das was Head Of The Department for Accountancy in Heramba Chandra College. He was one of the inspirations for me to enroll in this college. Another factor that inspired me to take admission here was the fact that my father and uncle were also pass out from this college.
