All about FET Jain University

Overall Rating
Engineering and Technology Jain University is a decent college but expensive. It is near south Bangalore near the Kanakpura road but transportation is an issue here. However it is an overall decent college.
 

Academics Rating
Both core and CSE courses are available along with specialisations and syllabus is updated and it is designed by Tata Consultancy Services company for some branches. There are other skill based courses offered by Government of India in some of the campuses even core branches like EEE and ECE have collaborations with Tata Consultancy Service. It gave a CTC of 7 LPA to a bunch of EEE students and ECE students.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty is good and experienced. Some are friendly while some are rude, it depends on teacher to teacher however everyone is helpful. Almost all the faculties are Ph.D holders and they have experience of more than then 10 + years of teaching. They all are from reputed colleges of India.
 

Placement Rating
Placements are decent if you work hard you would get 10+ CTC and if you are average then you would get 5-6 LPA. Internships are provided from 3rd year onwards. Zscalar, Juspay, Rubriks, Amedeus Labs, Groww, Texas Instruments, Altair, Infosys, Accenture, and more are some companies that visit on regular basis. Some branches have collaborations with some companies like CSE AIML with futurence and CSE CSBS with Tata Consulting Services and many more.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel is expensive. The mess food is ok. Hostel staff is co-operative.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure is good we have big grounds, courts, swimming pools, pool ground, auditorium and many more things. Class rooms are decent some are equipped with AC while some are not. The college is approx in 300 acres but transportation is a problem. But work is going on to improve transportation as well.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is good crowd is from all over India, Japan, Middle East, and Africa. Fest is known as Infinity and it is great and there are many clubs inside the campus. However people from South India are more as compared to North Indians there is a lot of diversity.

    I got to know about this university by my friends. My experience in this university is good as it provides all kind of facilities. Teachers and students are focused to their work. I chose Computer Science and Business System as my branch in Computer Science field. Actually I chose this branch because along with Computer Science I also like subjects such as Business, Management, Finance, etc. This branch is like Computer Science integrated with MBA course.   • Good hostel facilities
     

    Overall Rating
    The institute has one of the oldest aerospace labs in India and there are many senior faculties. The institute also has good Jet engine and wind tunnel to conduct various experiments. It is situated away from the city so that there are less chances of distraction from the city life.... Read Full Review
