Decent college to get the admission in Roorkee

Overall Rating
The collage is decent as the fees structure is not that bad and not that expensive for a middle class family to afford. The faculties are great as they know their core and are expert in their subjects. All have their unique teaching skills for the student life.
 

Academics Rating
The Academic structure is based on old type and new type of the subjects as they were in the other colleges. COER college provides every type of courses and the entry requirements for the college are based on the score of JEE, CUET, and boards result. Enrolling in the college is smooth.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties of the college are experienced and know what they are doing. New faculty has improved their teaching methods and has good communication skills which allow them to teach in good speed. They focus on their goals and help students in many forms. The teachers’ backgrounds were good as they have done their studies from IIT.
 

Placement Rating
The Placements of the college is good as it invites good and big companies. Every year 90 percent of student gets the placement from the college. College also helps to provide paid and un-paid internships with different small company.
 

Hostel Rating
In the COER there are many Hostel buildings. The first year has a different hostel building which prevents students from ragging. The hostel food is decent not that bad not that good. The hostel warden is very humble, polite, well mannered, and very kind hearted.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The Infrastructure of the college has beautiful block and building. Every portion of the college has different names. Academic block has classes for normal theory lectures and Mechanical Blocks for practical work of the large projects. College love to fund the projects of the student.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life of the College COER is good the whole area has beautiful gardening, flowers, etc. The canteen food is great. There is a grocery store for the hostellers. There are different clubs in the college for singing, dancing, etc.

    College Of Engineering, Roorkee has a 75 acre campus which made my campus life a great one. The faculties of my branch are also pretty supportive and help students in all aspects, but the placement is just average. Companies come but their takeaway response of Students with them is not so good. I am in my last Year and still waiting to get placed.... Read Full Review
