Good faculties and infrastructure

Overall Rating
College Of Engineering, Roorkee has a 75 acre campus which made my campus life a great one. The faculties of my branch are also pretty supportive and help students in all aspects, but the placement is just average. Companies come but their takeaway response of Students with them is not so good. I am in my last Year and still waiting to get placed.
 

Academics Rating
The admission process is not so lengthy you just have to pass through the minimum eligibility which you can consult with the admission staff. I have taken admission in B.Tech Computer Science because everyone told me that computer science is best in this institute and as per my experience I can say it is best among all the other branches.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties are quite supportive and their teaching level is also quite professional, but the only thing is that the College cannot be considered as the whole support system for your studies and you have to focus on yourself also. Faculties are qualified and some of them are from IITs. Their relationship with students is also good.
 

Placement Rating
The placement cell in the college is always in working mode but the placement level as per my experience is not so good. Yes, it is average but expecting too much is also not so good. Companies often come, but you have to prepare yourself for them because placement cell helps you to a certain extent only.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostels are fine not so good not so bad. Food is average and you have to present there within the time limit. Hostels are big enough, hostels are also sufficient because half of the campus is covered with them only.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The overall infrastructure is lush green and a lot of area is available for students to roam freely and enjoy their college life. The cafeteria is also big enough and there are three big grounds along with a cricket ground that are also well maintained. We enjoyed our campus life a lot because we can sit freely in grounds with our friends and have chit chats.
 

Campus Rating
Best part of my college life is my campus life. Despite what you think of studies there is a lot of things you can enjoy in college. We roam around a lot in our campus and also in cafeteria. It is never boring for me to be in college because there is so much area where you can have fun with your friends.
