EMPI is one of the top management colleges of Delhi

EMPI is not a known commodity to many but is one of the best when it comes to PGDM courses. They have kept the standards really high as intake is 120 and that too purely on merit. More than quantity, the college is focused more on quality. To give students an experience of a lifetime, the college has constructed an ATAL Incubation Center, IBM Labs and a high-performance centre. The college also has an entrepreneurship cell where they nurture the students to make them successful entrepreneurs. The college has been successful in creating many such people and for those who are interested in corporate jobs the college has a nice track record as their placement cell has successfully placed the students in big names like HSBC Bank, Accenture, Axis Bank, Bajaj Capital, and Bank of America among various others. We were given virtual situations in which we had to present a scalable and sustainable business model. This is certainly one of the best colleges when it comes to developing entrepreneurship skills.
Projects, projects, projects, was the way here. In 4 semesters, I have done over 200 assignments. Even Sundays were spent in college as studies were never ending here. All good as it is helping me in my current corporate life. Needless to say, that all this was done just to give us an insight into how challenging the life ahead is. The college is different from others as skill-building and team bonding were compulsory sessions every month. One man can’t make an army, and likewise we were always given tasks that were team based. It was challenging for introverts like me, but thank God that I came to this college as my perception of individualism changed.
All passed out from some of the reputed colleges while some really experienced ones not in teaching but in corporate life. This gave us a good mix because books are one thing, and applying them is different. A hell lot of burns every semester, but the faculty would never stop or be satisfied, for that matter. They will sneak a room for improvement and cut our chances as per that. Tough to survive under them, but once you did that means you have climbed a mountain. Trust me, they were the hardest nuts to crack, and because I have, all I can say is beyond college life, they were as friendly as we are with our best friends.
The skill set that we are developed at EMPI is known to one and all. Thus, companies came in bulk, and they were the ones who negotiated on our behalf with others. It was like we were in an auction pool where our talent is given what it deserves. Average placements were in the range of 10-12 lakhs, and only FMS placements are higher than that in Delhi. Thus, it’s safe to say that EMPI is the second-best business school in Delhi if placements are criteria to gauge.
Since it’s a residential program, all the students stay at the hostel which is exactly opposite the main building. There’s a garden that separates both the buildings. The hostel has stocked rooms and are given on a single or double basis as per student’s priority. Since the college is located in South Delhi, one is never short of options if they are craving something beyond the dining hall. The dining hall, though, which is huge, serves North Indian, South Indian, and Chinese food items on a regular basis. The hostel was great fun and even though the strength of the hostel was much less than my previous hostel, the fun was for sure double here. Students were allowed to walk in the park or go out till 11 pm. For girls, the curfew time was 9 pm.
Two buildings and a huge garden is what the campus has in all. The garden is lush green with various trees around, and atmosphere inside the campus is always a degree or 2 cooler. Classrooms were huge and had modern equipments to teach. The library was huge as well and was well-stocked with books of all disciplines. The auditorium is magnificent and was used frequently. A gurukul styled amphitheater for events was well-maintained. Besides that, students can do their projects with fresh air as it remained open throughout. There’s a basketball court inside the campus that helped us shed some of the pressure we had to face throughout the day.
I was perhaps the only one at EMPI whose UG and PG college both had a dress code. I was normal with that but not my class mates. Classes, back to rooms, roam inside the campus, go out on weekends at nearby places and play basketball at night is how my 2 years were spent at EMPI. It was fun, tricky, and a hard-fought one for sure.
If I say EMPI Business School is the best business school in Delhi, people will say I am exaggerating. I will lay forward some key points for everyone understands of why EMPI Business School is the best. The college's location is tremendous as it is in the midst of the city. The campus may not be huge but is lush green. It has both a cordial and competitive learning atmosphere. The faculty members of the college are industry experts, and some of them are still working. Thus, they give a complete... Read Full Review
