SKIT Jaipur, Rajasthan, It is one of the best engineering colleges in Jaipur and among the top colleges of Rajasthan. It was established in 2000. College offers B.Tech, M.Tech, and MBA. SKIT is approved by the AICTE. SKIT comes under the Rajasthan Technical University, and according to RTU, SKIT is RANKED No. 1 for four consecutive academic years. 5 branches of Swami Keshvanand Institute of Technology Jaipur are accredited by the NBA (National Board of Accreditation). I am a 3rd-year student in S.K.I.T. I have joined the course in 2019, I am enrolled in Computer Science Engineering, the eligibility criteria were candidate must have passed the class-12 exam with at least 45% marks but according to get C.S.E. Your score should be much higher than 45% in Board Exam, In order to join this institution first I filled the form of REAP and put my first priority as S.K.I.T. and CSE as a branch because I wanted to take part in this institution because of its academic result and also placement records. I had a good result in my JEE Mains examination so I easily get an allotment letter for admission to SKIT. First of all, it is a great college to learn and I always wanted to bend my career towards coding, and SKIT was a great opportunity to help me towards my goal. Subjects that are taught to us in college are really helpful and also exceed my expectations.
All the faculties are highly qualified. Smart classes is also available, one of the best things in the college is its library and also there are several computers available in the library where you can learn and I am a computer software engineer so I personally needed those technologies and computers. There labs conditions are really good, personally liked the mechanical lab, the tools, and machines that are available are really good and I am a software engineer I used some in my first year.
I am currently a student so I did not know enough about SKIT Jaipur placements but I can say internships are not provided by the college, you have to find internships by yourself. But yes I have listed from our seniors that a lot of companies visit SKIT, an average salary of the students was 4-5 lakh per annum and also highest placement was 14 lakh per annum. Obviously, you are given the opportunity to get placement it is up to you to get placed. Around all the students get placed in CSE.
Separate hostels are there for boys and girls and mess is also available for both. There are around 400 rooms for boys and 200 rooms for girls. SKIT Hostel rooms are allotted on a first come first serve basis, but not to take a tension college is surrounded by various PGs and rooms. Security is really tight in the college, Boys are not allowed to go out after 9 pm and girls are not allowed to go out after 6 pm. Medical support is also good I remember my friend's incident his eyes were hurting a night he was supported by guards and send to the hospital by car. So I can say it is safe in hostel.
College is not that huge it is in 13 acres. It consists of 4 buildings plus 2 hostels inside the college and cafeteria, Grounds are pretty much huge and also 3 basketball courts and tennis courts and volleyball courts also. The campus is lush green and the departments are really well separated. Medical support is also good a nurse is always there to help you and if it is serious you will be immediately sent to the close hospital. College dress is also easily available in the college only and college is in centre of the Jaipur so it is easy to buy something. And also Stationary is available in the college so you can buy anything you want.
SKIT Campus life was also good but the biggest bane is you cannot leave the college at your own time plus there is uniform that is huge problem, You have to wear that only in the college you cannot wear anything else. Clubs are really good in the college personally I liked tech master because I was really shy in speaking in front of people that club helped me in speaking in front of crowd courageously. Many more clubs are there in college where you can improve your personality and build yourself. Every year an event takes place called 'Pravah' where celebrations take place, It is a four-day event and also many other colleges are invited to join this event and take part in singing, dancing, fashion show, etc. many more sport competitions also took place in this fest.

At SKIT, shut the shop and go home as soon as the College was over. Students of SKIT should get a purple heart for bravery because the students not maintaining attendance of 75% is considered a glaring error. The faculty would enjoy being in full swing with us on the day, but there was a saturated limitation that we could only have fun with them on certain days. So, on most days, we can't fathom what they did because they were so off the mark and students are given leniency in attendance. It was... Read Full Review
