My Views on YCCE Nagpur

Overall Rating
I am a first year student and my overall experience about this College is pretty average. The reason I took admission in YCCE because of the score I got in CET I could get mechanical engineering easily and this was best college for this course.
 

Academics Rating
As for me, I am in mechanical engineering. The cutoff for this in 2023 was 56 percentile in CET. The faculty members for mechanical engineering are good and are well qualified for their respective subjects. For registration you have to apply in YCCE official website first. The fees vary from 174000 to 16000 according to your caste.
 

Faculty Rating
They are very well qualified for their subjects. Their teaching methods are also good and helpful. Student to teacher ratio is also good. The strictness for examination is high compared to other colleges in Nagpur. The average package is about 5-6 lakh.
 

Placement Rating
50-60% of students get placed every year. The companies like IBM, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, TCS and more visits for recruitment.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostel of this college is also good. The only problem is that the food quality is not what you think it is. Sometimes good sometimes bad. The infrastructure for hostel is good.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There is separate building for most of the branches. Mostly core branches. The labs and workshops are good. Every building has lifts and classroom is also good for an above average college. The campus is also pretty good. Its library is also big. It has large numbers of books.
 

Campus Rating
My experience in this college in little because of the strict culture and attendance and all that. A less number of fests are organised in this college. The canteen in campus is good and the food they serve is also pretty good. The improvement I would like to have is that there is no sports play ground for students. This college is more of a study focused college.

    I think your experience in college is what you make of it. Not everyone will have the same experience as me. Honestly, I am satisfied with my decision to join YCCE. Every college has its pros and cons but overall, it is a great place to learn, grow, and succeed. College has various types of branches with specialization in AI/ML, IoT, AI-DS, etc....
