My Experience at YCCE, Nagpur

Overall Rating
I think your experience in college is what you make of it. Not everyone will have the same experience as me. Honestly, I am satisfied with my decision to join YCCE. Every college has its pros and cons but overall, it is a great place to learn, grow, and succeed. College has various types of branches with specialization in AI/ML, IoT, AI-DS, etc.
 

Academics Rating
I am a final year student and according to me, the academics here are good. One thing I wish they would improve is the practical aspect of learning.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty members are always willing to help you. Their teaching methods are good enough, but this does not mean that every faculty will encourage you. Faculty members do have in depth knowledge when it comes to their respective subjects. During semester exams, teachers are strict so that no student undergoes any kind of malpractices.
 

Placement Rating
The placement scene is decent I must say. The average salary package is around 4-5 LPA. However, I wish there were more opportunities for internships and training. The college really needs to focus on this. The companies like IBM, Cognizant, Infosys, Capgemini, and TCS are regular visiting companies every year.
 

Hostel Rating
I am a day scholar, but I think the hostels in YCCE, Nagpur are decent. Food is okay, and rooms are pretty clean and comfortable.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus is good I must say. The classrooms are decent, auditorium is huge, and college does have so much greenery all around and that is taken care of very well. There are different buildings for different departments as well. Every department has its own labs for practical. The canteen is huge and food tastes well.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life in YCCE, Nagpur is good if you have good group of friends. Every year, college fest has been held ‘Yash’, which goes for almost 7-8 days. In general, only 1-2 fests are held each year. The improvement part, college should have been in sports. There is no badminton court for players. Overall, there is so much opportunity for extra-curricular activities.
