Review On My College - GITAM

Overall Rating
My experience in this college is quite good. This college is well maintained with all facilities such as nearby PG, restaurants etc. The environment of this college and climate here is very chill. The college is located in Doddaballapur which is very near to Nandi hills. We can visit this tourist spot easily.
 

Academics Rating
This college provides different categories of course in B.Tech and I opted for B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering. To get seat in this college the entry requirements are to give the KCET exam and clear the cut-off of 50k to 60k or give the COMEDK exam and clear the cut-off of 5k to 15k.
 

Faculty Rating
Almost all faculties are Ph.D qualified. Faculty student ratio is little bit low and there will be little communication gap between teachers and students. They teach with a visual Power point presentation for a clear explanation, we can get clarified with doubts in the working hours. Sometimes faculties will be irregular for the classes.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, this college can assist the students to get a decent package. The average package of this college is 8 to 9 lakh per annum. But totally depending upon these people will not get you placed so we should upscale our skills.
 

Hostel Rating
This college has a well maintained hostel near to the playing ground and good food facility. But the fees of this college are very high so better to join the PG near to the college which may reduce in cost of living.
 

Infrastructure Rating
This college has a well maintained college infrastructure of consisting 3 academic blocks, and 4 hostel blocks. We have a block for library and a very big playground near to the campus. We have a good, cleaned and lush green campus. But this college is located outside city which will be difficult to go to city for any need.
 

Campus Rating
This college has many clubs related to tech where we can take part and explore some new things. Also there are clubs related to sports and we can represent our college in different sports like cricket, basketball, football etc. This college conducts fests and other engagement activities and celebrating some events like Karnataka Rajyothsava etc.

    I have been lived and enjoyed the campus life of GITAM University. It is a feeling. Throughout the journey, exposure to extracurricular activities, broad enlarged scope of learning with multi dimensional disciplines is commendable. There are explicit options for personal growth and development through various clubs, for instance G-studio, Kalakriti, e-club, and what not.     GITAM University is good for pursuing a B.Tech degree. The college has good infrastructure. and I have joined here through lateral entry where I am continuing my studies from 2nd second year at GITAM University. I have referred my colleges to join but among that, I thought this is the best college. I have learnt many things after joining this college.     GITAM University is good for pursuing B.Tech degree. It has good infrastructure. And I have joined GITAM through KCET Karnataka common entrance test. In my opinion, our college is good with qualified lectures. And those lectures may help the students in achieving their goals.     I chose GITAM for several reasons; their academics are very good, there is a wide range of programmes, the campus infrastructure is great, they have connections with placements, and have a separate Placement Cell.
