The GITAM University Bangalore has an aesthetically designed campus with the advanced amenities to ensure that students have excellent academic life experience. Additionally, various blocks for academic, administration, residences, etc. are there at the University.
Around 45 acres is the campus area of the Institution. Moreover, students have access to a Knowledge Resource Center, canteen, laboratories, accommodations, sports, internet, seminar halls, and multiple others at the GITAM University Bangalore campus.
For providing conducive learning environment to the students, the Institution has modern academic and non-academic facilities. 100+ classrooms with sufficient seating arrangement and high tech teaching aids are present inside the academic blocks of the University.
At GITAM University Bangalore campus, there are several auditoriums including ‘Chattrapathi Shivaji Bhavan Auditorium’, ‘Sivaji Auditorium’ (with about 1200 seating capacity), and others. All the auditoriums of the Institution have modern amenities like projectors, Wi-Fi, and others.
Additionally, the Institution has a conference room, ‘Kensan Hall VDC’, GD rooms, case study & Interview rooms, and around 4 seminar halls where approximately 150 students (each) can be seated at a time.

- Library: An air-conditioned ‘Knowledge Resource Centre’ (KRC) is present at the premises of the Institution which is stacked with a huge number of print resources like 24,480+ books, 4220+ titles, 60+ National & International periodicals, reference books, AV material, and others.
A digital library covering the area of around 138 square meters with updated systems is there for the students. It provides access to numerous 19,500+ e-journals, e-books, and other online resources from the JSTOR, Springer, Science Direct, EBSCO, and other renowned databases.
- Laboratories: Several computer labs are there at the University to help students in their academics and research work. Moreover, departments like Engineering, Computer Applications, Sciences, and others have 50+ laboratories, containing advanced instruments and equipment to make sure students gain practical knowledge.
Some of such laboratories are Mechanical lab, Programming lab, Engineering Graphics lab, and many more.
- Sports: At the University, a number of sports amenities are available for the students. There are several courts, stadiums, and playgrounds for the games like Basketball, Cricket, Football, Badminton, Volleyball, and so on. Furthermore, there is an Athletic Track, Indoor Stadium, Table Tennis (around 4 tables), and many more within the premises.
- Hostel: There are several hostel blocks such as ‘Vinay Sadan’ (for male students), ‘Kokila Sadan’ (for female students), etc. which have numerous AC and Non- AC rooms in multiple sharing. Along with this, the GITAM University Bangalore Hostels are equipped with the amenities such as rooms, dining halls, e-learning centre, and the list goes on with many others.
- Canteen: For students, there are 2 canteens & cafeterias (each) within the Institution premises which serves quality meals, snacks, and beverages at the minimal prices.
- Transportation: To ease students’ transportation from the campus, there are several buses within the campus of the GITAM Bengaluru campus.
- Healthcare: The Deemed to be University has a Health Centre with trained physicians where students are facilitated with healthcare services. Moreover, ambulance services are available at the campus. Also, the Institution has tie-ups with nearby reputed hospitals to ensure that students receive specialised care in case of emergency.
- Gymnasium: At the GITAM University Bengaluru campus, there are fully-equipped gymnasiums for male and female students which supports in maintaining their physique and overall health.
- Banking: Inside the GITAM University Bangalore campus, there is a branch & ATM of ‘Union Bank of India’ to provide financial services to the students. Postal services are also available for the students.
