INMANTEC Institutions BBA Review By Mohammad Gulrez

Overall, the college is average with few things better than the other. Faculty is a mix of good and experienced teachers as well as the teachers who don’t have a clue as to what they are teaching. The campus life was good as I enjoyed my college life to the core and at Inmantec, one is never short of facilities or friends to have fun. Academics were little strict with a good curriculum and making students understand what lies ahead for them. Placements are okay with approx 3/4th of the students getting placed with some organization or the other. The infrastructure does not disappoint as some state-of-the-art facilities, is what you will find at the campus. Campus life was extraordinary because the college societies which I never until I join, were quite a fun and even though they didn’t remained active all year round, we made that happen because I came to college with a purpose and Inmantec has by and large helped me with that.

We have a good curriculum that is vast and all-inclusive. Along with the BBA course, many certification programs were also running simultaneously and students can enroll in any such program. Though the syllabus covers everything but it still has a scope of being improved which is okay since all things have room for improvement. Practicals which looked like bygones here in the first 2 semesters came with a bang from the 3rd and we had practical sessions almost daily from the 3rd semester. We had to choose one specialized subject in the final year and must say the BBA program of Inmantec is a highly advanced course that teaches us skills and more than the basics of management studies.

Our college professors are excellent. Subjects are taught by different instructors who are adept in the subjects they teach. Faculty members make the most of every period and waste no time. All our college professors were highly qualified and capable at the same time. Their teaching is of a high standard. They looked after the students really well as not exactly the personal attention but special treatment to special students was given by the faculty. One has to try really hard to earn that special position and once you did that, life at Inmantec would be even more beautiful.

Around 75% of the students placed just before the final semester. Students were offered an average salary package of Rs. 20,000-25,000 per month. The numbers aren’t that staggering but looking at how graduates in this country are positioned, I would still rate the placements of Inmantec as good. Industrial tours happened, proper training and guidance were provided. Even if the students missed the bus from the campus placements, the different certification courses can easily fetch them jobs beyond campus. Since I have done PG, I can say that degree will only help you with your initial job as after a year or so, it's your skills that will do the talking.

The college campus has a couple of boys and 1 girls hostel building. Outsiders come to this college every year as all the courses offered by the college are the best in the state. The hostels were nice but don’t know about all the facilities that it had because it’s been some time since I have left the college and also because I was a day scholar.

The building looks like an IT company’s building from inside and classrooms were equally maintained. Cleanliness was not that high but that’s because of the students. The paint and all has started coming off and it’s time that college starts looking at that part. The college’s library which was air-conditioned was one of the most peaceful places I have come across. For day scholars, it was accessible only till 6 pm, and even though the city has many private libraries but no one is close to the Inmantec library. The college canteen was amazing because there’s not much outside the campus other than some pan and beedi shops. The canteen was more or less the only option we had but even if there were options, people would have preferred the college canteen because the snacks at the canteen were highly delicious and one should try chutney samosa at the canteen. The area of the college doesn’t permit a high percentage of sports ground but it has two state of the art basketball courts, one each for boys and girls.

I not only attended every event but organized a few as well. From blood donation camp to distributing clothes and food to the needy happened through social societies of the college. One can learn as much as they want from Inmantec as academics to activities, the college has excelled in all, and the high rankings by most of the prestigious rating agencies is proof of that. Everyone’s participation was encouraged and college management themselves took care that the same set of students are not seen over and again at the events. Hence, it was events for all and one can have a great time at the college as it has a lot to offer.
