For me it had always been very important to complete my Masters from a reputed institution and it was like a dream come true, when I secured a seat at SIMSREE. I was admitted to the full-time MMS (Masters of Management Studies) course, which is affiliated to the University of Mumbai and approved by AICTE. At this institution, you can choose a specialization of your choice from Finance, Operations, Marketing and HR & Systems. You need to appear for an entrance examination conducted by the CET, where a centralized admission process is followed for student selection. SIMSREE also provides part-time Master’s degree in financial and marketing management. The fees for the full-time course is INR 1,36,000/-, while that for the part-time course is INR 1,53,000/-.

The best part about studying at SIMSREE was that academics at this institute were viewed not just from the theoretical angle, but equal weightage was given to its application in life. This institute made it a point to have guest faculties onboard, who had a vast experience in their field of expertise to deliver lectures and help us understand the market trend. Even though the focus was on effectively completing the syllabus, it wasn’t delivered only through books, but with the help of PPTs, laying focus on practical examples. At SIMSREE, the idea has always been to deliver knowledge and uplift the personality of the student.

When I passed out of SIMSREE in the year 2019, it felt difficult to bid a good-bye to this lovely institution mainly because I was going to thoroughly miss the faculty here. The best part about SIMSREE’s faculty members is that they always made it a point to clear the concepts right from the basics. Even technical aspects were simplified and delivered to the class. Whenever, any student felt like they haven’t clearly understood what was taught in the class, we were given complete freedom to approach our faculty members, who were more than willing and always happy to go out of the way and attend to our doubts. What made them special is that they did not just have the necessary academic qualification, but at the same time had heaps of experience and expertise in the subject that was allotted to them. Undoubtedly, they have added value to my life.

One of the main reasons as to why, students dream of securing a Masters seat at SIMSREE is because of the renowned brands that visit the campus for in-house placements. From my stint at this institute between 2017 and 2019, I have witnessed well-known companies coming onboard, conducting interviews, selecting students and offering lucrative pay packages. In general, recruiting companies unveil themselves at the institute with valuable pre-placement talks. Later, based on our interest, we can apply to companies of our choice. Students are shortlisted based on their resume scrutiny, aptitude test and group discussions. In the last round, the recruiter conducts one to one personal interviews. These interviews can be conducted on or off campus based on the convenience of the recruiter.

Even though getting into an institute like SIMSREE felt very special, there was always a concern about the hostel facilities. Getting into a PG would definitely work out to be more expensive, so I had been praying for decent hostel provisions. It must be my good luck that I secured a hostel accommodation and had to pay only INR 1,00,000/- for both accommodating and food. The hostel rooms were on twin-sharing basis with provisions such as a wardrobe, beds and mattresses, study tables and racks for storage purpose. Common amenities included washrooms, mess and laundry services. Not to forget, the delicious food that was served at the mess, which might get repetitive, but no one can deny that it was high in taste.

SIMSREE has decent infrastructural facilities, which has encouraged students like me to give our best by studying in comfortable classrooms and overall a peaceful environment. Moving around has always been a satisfactory experience, all thanks to the contemporary facilities.

SIMSREE has a very modest campus, which promises to make you feel at home. It feels good to come dressed in formals and maintain a certain level of professionalism. At SIMSREE, you will always come across hard-working and dedicated students, who have a pre-set goal in mind, which they are trying hard to achieve. High level of discipline, while maintaining a healthy environment is the ideology that is practiced on SIMSREE’s campus.
