A Comprehensive Review of My College

Overall Rating
My time at Shaheed Rajguru College of Applied Sciences for Women has been a mix of emotions including academics and ample practical exposure, especially in the field of microbiology. This girl’s college under Delhi University offers a supportive and focused learning environment, though it has its areas needing improvement, like placements and campus activities. Still, it stands out for its infrastructure and a good faculty.

Academics Rating
Academics at Rajguru College are quite good, particularly in Science. The focus is heavily on studies and maintaining a high CGPA. The college provides opportunities for lab-based experiments and well-equipped labs. These hands-on experiences are valuable for an undergrad student like me, as it offers practical exposure with various instruments.

Faculty Rating
The faculty at our college is one of its strongest assets. The professors are not only knowledgeable but also very supportive. They take the time to explain concepts clearly. This makes the learning process much more engaging. A major con is they emphasize more on regularity and if you are an absentee they will point it out in every class.

Placement Rating
The placement cell at our college exists but is not particularly effective. There are very few placements related to our courses and companies rarely visit for recruitment. Most students have to find job opportunities on their own. This is an area where the college could significantly improve on.

Infrastructure Rating
Our college is having a good infrastructure as compared to other Delhi Universities. There is a huge amphitheatre for functions and events, air-conditioned labs, and spacious lecture theatres. Each department has its own large area for activities, which enhances the overall learning experience. We also have a sports ground where all kinds of sports activities take place.

Campus Rating
The campus life at Rajguru College is active but could be more vibrant. While there are fests, various clubs and societies, they don’t attract major attention or popular performers due to budget constraints. Our college often feels sidelined compared to other DU colleges. As of my experience, once you get here you have to find more eating places as the canteen doesn’t make good food. Despite this, there are still plenty of opportunities, activities and locations to get involved and make the most of your time here.

    Overall Rating
I'm a second year student of SRCASW, Delhi University. It’s an off campus college but has decent NIRF ranking. I aspired to be a DU student and therefore I landed into this college. The course I am pursuing is B.Sc (Hons) Instrumentation. Although the course lacks awareness, it’s a course which would see exponential scope in the coming years. The faculty of my college is phenomenal in their fields. The syllabus is for sure industry related but getting a well paying placement from this colleg... Read Full Review

    Overall Rating
It has been two years since I have been studying in this college and I have just one word for it - HOME. The college's environment is just so good. The people around here, teachers, non teaching staff, students and everyone here is just so friendly. We have an approachable environment over here. If we talk about studies, then it's done in a very appropriate way. Apart from studies, the tech fest or cultural fest, Holi and Diwali celebrations, etc. are also organised and it is so much fun. It's a... Read Full Review
