After completing my 12th grade, I aspired to pursue a career in the field of computers and sought admission to a well-regarded college in Ranchi. I applied to several institutions, but after seeing reviews and interacting with seniors, I realised that BIT Lalpur college stood out among the rest. Admission at that time was based on a merit list determined based on 12th grade marks, with limited seats available -120 for boys and 120 for girls. I was fortune to secure a spot, and my classes began in August 2020. Due to the COVID -19, my first year was conducted online. The faculties were incredibly helpful and always ready to assist, if you reached out to them. In 2022, college reopened in-person classes. The facilities are impressive; the classrooms are air-conditioned, well-furnished, and smart. Beyond academics, BIT Lalpur offers a variety of sports activities and annual events where student showcase their talents. Additionally, the college's involvement with NGO stands out as one of the best aspect of student experience, providing opportunities for community engagement and personal growth. Many good companies also come for placement like SAP, Wipro, etc. These things making it an ideal choice for anyone looking to excel in their studies and beyond.

Eligibility criterion is student should have more than 50% marks in 12th grade. My motive to enroll to this program was driven by personal passion. I have been fascinated by technology from an early age of mine. This college has academic excellence, experienced faculty, and environment for holistic development.

The faculty members at BIT Lalpur are highly qualified, with many holding advanced degrees and possessing extensive experience in their respective fields. Some have deep understanding of computer application concepts and they stay updated about the latest advancements in technology. They ensure that no student felt left behind. Their experience, support, and commitment to excellence make the college a great place to learn and grow.

During my time, some companies came like SAP, Wipro, etc. visited with the average CTC of 3-6 LPA.

The campus comprises two buildings, one playground and a sufficient parking area. The classrooms are modern, air - conditioned and well-furnished, providing a comfortable environment. The computer labs are equipped with the latest hardware and software. Also the library is well-stocked with academic books. It has common areas for students’ interactions and dedicated spaces for extracurricular activities and sports.

At that time, there were 7-8 societies, ranging from technical clubs to cultural groups. It organises diverse activities like coding contents, cultural events, sports tournaments, and many workshops. One sad thing is that the college doesn't provide you any fresher’s or any farewell parties. Annual program is organised every year in the month of February where student showcase their talents and teachers are also involved. The college has active involvement with NG, which provide student with opportunities for fostering a sense of responsibility.
