Overall, JSSATE was barely ok in its facilities and opportunities. I only opted for this college because my parents and I believed it was the best available option at the time. Average placement is very low and the classroom conditions and facilities are also not up to the mark. In the end, you will have to do everything yourself (the up skilling, learning new technologies and also preparing for the exams). They detain you from giving internal exams if your attendance is too low. Some teachers try to help and allow students to "bunk" to get a rest, but in the end, they too left the college. Internship leaves are only allowed in the 4th year.

Entry requirements are not that high, but not that low as well. I got 69603 ranks (91 %ile) in JEE Mains, for which I got the IT (Information Technology) branch in JSS. In the course, for all branches, the first year has common subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Math and some introductory courses as well. From second year, new subjects are introduced. If there are seats available, then students with high score can opt for a branch change. Most Important: The courses are set according to the AKTU, and all of it is outdated.

Some faculty members are good, and teach very well. You will also be required to study by yourself as the teaching style of various teachers is not that good.

Yes we do have a placement cell in the college, and they seem to work on getting students up to mark. The placement opportunities that are offered by the college are average.

I did not apply for the hostel since it was in triple sharing, and I only wanted a single roommate. That's why I can't really comment on the conditions. There are 2 boy's hostels and 1 Girl's hostel.

The infrastructure is all right. Renovations are also being done in the buildings. A new auditorium was built some time ago. Labs have ACs, but the classes don't. Only fans with no regulators are present in the classes. Only some classes have projectors in them.

The campus life was and is, in fact good. The major factor is of course the new friends that you get to make. There are various societies and sport teams, within the college, which you can join after giving an audition and winning in the respective sports. Fests are also held, though this time, there were limitations, as in, no external performer was called, and the timing was also reduced.
