The college boasts a very huge and attractive campus of 13 acres.

SJB IT offers various education programs. One branch of that vast tree is B.Tech i.e. Engineering. Engineering is an evergreen field and has scope for development in various and versatile fields and has applications in basically every other field. The eligibility criterion for this course is, the student should have passed his/her 10+2 and for a merit seat, the student should have a rank within the cut-off region.

The Faculty is very friendly and genuine. You can always approach them regarding any queries without any hesitation. They offer extensive support for all the students. Teaching is above par and they implement interactive methods to make the sessions more interesting. The faculty uses engaging methods to reach each and every student. The lecturers hold degrees of higher levels from esteemed universities. Their commitment towards achieving the goal of making the students hit their marks is definitely remarkable.

Department of Human Resource Development is a facility with a motive to create a platform for national and international placements. The college has a history of placements amongst private institutions in Karnataka. It also offers pool campus drives to extend help for students. This department makes sure to inculcate the required skill set in the minds of the students to get placed in reputed companies or establishments.

SJB IT provides a wonderful hostel facility for both boys and girls.

SJB IT has one of the renowned libraries in the city with a great collection of references to enable better learning and provide more scope for the students at acquiring more knowledge. It has an auditorium which accommodates a huge number of people. There's a gallery too. Indoor and outdoor sports are very much encouraged. The college also provides the facility for the students to utilize the gym present here. It has a huge ground where cricket and football are widely played and also huge events are conducted.

The campus is buzzing with various engaging activities when it comes to fests, workshops, seminars and more. The BGS Utsav is conducted annually along with department fests hosted individually by the respective departments. There are various dance teams for different dance forms, a music club and much more.
