The overall NIRF ranking of the National Institute of Technology Warangal as per the latest data is 21 in engineering category. It stands among the top three NITs of India that's why I chose NIT Warangal to pursue my graduation from here. Also the placement in CSE in very good. I have secured a JEE MAINS percentile of 99, so I got CSE branch in 2nd round of JOSSA counseling.

For getting admission in branches CSE of NIT Warangal one has to secure a very good percentile in JEE mains examination that is conducted by NTA twice in a year, once in a month of January and then in the month of April. Also, one has to secure minimum 75% in 12th standard. As I have a keen interest in coding so I chose Computer Science and Engineering department to pursue my graduation degree.

The faculty of NIT Warangal is strict. They are mostly aligned to the syllabus of the particular course. Most of them belong to Telangana and have Telugu as their native language which can create the problem for North Indian students who don't know the Telugu language. All the faculties have given a cabin inside their respective departments, where they stay till the office hours apart from classes. Lab assistant are mostly Ph.D student and M.Tech students.

The placement of NIT Warangal in the academic year 2022-23 is best among other NITs of India. The highest package was 88 LPA from CSE department whereas the average package from my branch that is CSE is 31 LPA. But this year placement of NIT Warangal drops with the placement percentage of 44 only in the Biotechnology branch.

There is around 17 hostels for boys and 5 hostels for girls. For first year students there is the largest hostel of India that is the Ramapaa Hall of Residence. In first year you get a double seater room. Each room has one almirah, two chairs, two beds, two tables, and one fan.

There are all the basic facilities available for the student inside the campus itself. There is a food street where you found most of the things to eat, one Domino's Pizza outlet, juice shop, Xerox shop, barber shop and many more things. One large dispensary is available inside the campus with 24 hours ambulance facility. The doctor are well experienced and handle each student with almost care. All the teachers’ cabins are equipped with air conditioners.

You will experience a great campus life in NIT Warangal. The campus of NIT Warangal is huge and spreads over the area of 249 acres. The peer group you found here is great. All students are serious for their future and doing something in their field of interest. Various recreation activities such as DJ night, Ganesh utsav, avighna, ethnic night, and more are organised by various clubs monthly. There are 2 fests that are organised annually by the college. These are the cultural fest that's Spring Spree which is organised in the month of April and the other one is the largest technical fest of South India that's Technozian that is conducted in January.
