I can say overall the college is good. You can be a part of this college by getting good marks in CEE (Common Entrance Examination), if you are 12th passed with minimum 50% in PCM or you can get good marks in JLEE if you are an engineering diploma student. This college is situated in Golaghat district of Assam and it is a state engineering college. The academics are controlled by Assam Science and Technology University.

I can say that you will get excellent education here along with all co-curricular activities. Here the regular classes are maintained. The teachers are very punctual for their duty so you also have to be punctual. The branches you can find here are Mechanical, Chemical and civil. Overall from my point of view the academics are good enough if we compare this with some other college.

Most fascinating thing about this college is the faculties. The faculties are not only punctual but also they very friendly in the class. They not teach like a professor, they teach like their own kids. They interact with every students present in the class. If you don't know something or don't know the answer of any question then you can asked your teacher without any hesitation. Because they will not get angry on you.

Sorry for this I don't see any placement there. But seniors say that the first two batches got placement offers from some companies.

The hostel is good not bad. The rooms are good. There are two hostels one boys hostel and one girl’s hostel. Boy’s hostel capacity is 80 and girl hostel capacity is 60. I don't know much about the hostel because I am not a hosteller.

Infrastructure is good enough. There is an academic building and an administrative building along with one college library, one lift and one canteen. The canteen is very neat and clean. Also there are well maintained laboratories. There are 5 workshops; they are plumbing, fitter, carpentry, machine, and welding. Overall the infrastructure is very good.

The campus life is good not bad there will be approx 800 students in the college and there are various clubs you can join robotics club, football club, chess club, music and dance club and many others. There will be many fests celebrated in the year but specially the Diwali fests and Rhapsody is famous there. Rhapsody is annual tech fest where various competitions will be there. The participants came from JEC SITM. There you can enjoy two day concert night with bollywood and Assamese singers. This year the famous Assamese singer Bishrut Saikia and Ash King came there. Moreover there you can enjoy many more sports and other competitions.
