My College Review on the Jain University

Overall Rating
One of the major reasons why I chose this college is because of the academic structure they had offered for my specific course, which is better compared to what many other private colleges in India can offer. But the overall campus life, activities, fest are not at all up to the mark.
 

Academics Rating
To do B.Tech in Aeronautical Engineering from the Jain University, there isn’t any specific requirement other than being present for the JET (Jain Entrance Test). The scores for any other comment exams are also accepted. Just make sure you have a good percentage in your 10th and +2. The academic structure for Aeronautical Engineering in this college is good.
 

Faculty Rating
As per my specific department, the faculties are totally up to the mark. Obviously, there are teachers with whom you can’t expect full support. But then there are also exceptional professors who have in-depth knowledge about what they are doing. You can expect your faculty to support you for your projects, research, and more; you just have to find the right ones.
 

Placement Rating
In the Aeronautical department, the placements offered in this college are not so good. Very few students from the Aeronautical and Aerospace department are placed each year.
 

Hostel Rating
There are three hostels near the main campus, which are available for local students and international students. There is another hostel for the boy’s which is located outside the campus. The girl’s hostel located inside the campus is not that good. Also, the food served can be better.
 

Infrastructure Rating
From the main gate, the road gets divided into 2, one goes to FET, which is the main block of the campus and the other one goes to the Aerospace building. The PU block is for the Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic and Civil department. The road further takes us to the Jain Public School and the football court, the tennis court, the basketball court, etc. The main hostels are in the way of the main building, FET.
 

Campus Rating
There isn’t much of the Bangalore college life that you will expect in the campus of the Jain University. But, I personally think this environment is a lot more peaceful. The college only offers one fest in an academic year. There are certain clubs that you can be part of. The facilities this college provides are something that you can look forward to.

Academically, Jain gives you a lot of opportunities to thrive in what you want to achieve.     The studies in the college are taken pretty seriously. Maintaining a good attendance percentage which is 75% is also important for getting exam ticket hassle free. The college is overall good. But the mess is the issue for students staying in the hostel as the food in the mess is not good.... Read Full Review

    My overall experience at Jain University, Kanakpura Road (Jakkasandra campus) has been average. Academics are okay, with moderate teaching quality and low study pressure. A lot of free time in hands so self study is the best way to learn different skills. Overall growth depends on individual efforts.     The campus is not that large but is big enough. The faculties are very good and professional. We have CSIT and Business department in the university. The university is run by a private owner they provide internship and placement as well for a good outcome from the university and the people are good they hang around at the university for fun...
