Jain University has the best campus life

Overall Rating
Jain university is a great college and it provides you with a great campus life as well, because the events held by them are grand and very inclusive to everyone. Academically, Jain gives you a lot of opportunities to thrive in what you want to achieve. Overall, it's a good place to learn and make connections, especially with the diverse culture seen among the students.
 

Academics Rating
Jain University takes in students based on JET or CUET scores, followed by a thorough interview related to your subject. There are various courses provided by the university, especially in arts - Economics, Public Policy, Journalism, Psychology, Sociology, Communicative English etc. For me, the syllabus of my course, BA Economics was really up to the level I needed to study and consists of subjects which help in the practical life. Various certifications and workshops are also provided by the university.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty is different for all schools- School of Commerce, School of Humanities and Social Sciences, School of Computer Science and IT, thus all the professors are well trained in their subjects. They also have great communication skills and are friendly and supportive towards the students. The professors also provide guidance to the students and you can make connections with such highly educated people. They also promote research based learning and promote you to write and publish research papers.
 

Placement Rating
The placement cell at Jain University works in favour of the students as companies like Infosys, Amazon, TCS, IBM, etc. come to the university to recruit students. Internships are usually taken up by students through personal sources but is compulsory for the course. Although the college doesn't provide you campus internship recruitments but does present opportunities and provide guidance.
 

Hostel Rating
There are various hostels of Jain University in different parts of Bangalore, according to the price level. But the food provided is same across all jain hostels, which is not up to the nutrition level required by students. The infrastructure is not bad, you get to choose from single, double and triple sharing rooms. Although there are no recreational activities provided to the residents. Additionally, there is an in time of 8:30-9:30 pm in the night and good security and wardens.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Jain University has campuses spread across Bangalore, for different courses and specialisations. The Jayanagar Campus of Jain University is a huge building with 9 floors and everything is available throughout the building - stationery, canteen, basketball court etc. There is wifi, parking spaces, library etc. There is no other area for outdoor games but some campuses do have it. Overall, the infrastructure of the university is convenient and good.
 

Campus Rating
The events held at Jain University are grand and extravagant. The student council, economics forum, literature forum, all host events and provide different opportunities of work inside the forum such as public relations, marketing, hospitality, etc. All these help the students gain experience and skills which are required in the professional world. The crowd is very diverse and every student holds variety of talents.

    The studies in the college are taken pretty seriously. Maintaining a good attendance percentage which is 75% is also important for getting exam ticket hassle free. The college is overall good. But the mess is the issue for students staying in the hostel as the food in the mess is not good.... Read Full Review

    My overall experience at Jain University, Kanakpura Road (Jakkasandra campus) has been average. Academics are okay, with moderate teaching quality and low study pressure. A lot of free time in hands so self study is the best way to learn different skills. Overall growth depends on individual efforts.
