The J. P. Dawer Institute of Information Science and Technology extends the Veer Narmad South Gujarat universities PG program. It specializes in five years integrated postgraduate course of IT and a two-year full-time postgraduate course of ICT. Overall the faculty is very encouraging and motivating, with these students are helpful in the college. The students are very goal-oriented and concerned about their studies. In totality, the environment is very warm and friendly. They also provide undergraduate and Ph.D. courses. The college is famous for its IT & ICT programs where you will also learn about business systems, management, electronics & communication engineering, computer application, etc. So, you will be able to fetch challenging career opportunities in the future easily.

The syllabus is completely updated in the college. The labs teach these students all kinds of practical skills which are required to get a job. If one does mercy in ICT, then all the different programming languages are taught. So that students can get a job in any kind of office. There are many other different skills which are taught at the college and also various activities. The professors are really helpful with academic work and help students get all kinds of knowledge through academics. There is a full-fledged computer lab that houses enough computers for all students to work simultaneously. It allows every student to learn at their own pace individually. The teachers are also very responsive when in a critical situation, and they help students grow their analytical skills. There is even an odd robotics lab which is an immense help to students.

Students at the J.P. Dawer Institute of Information Science and Technology have reported that the college faculty members are very concerned about their student's academics and careers. The infrastructure is very recommendable. The lab facilities have also been reported to be state of the art. It is reportedly one of the best colleges for IT post-graduation. Many people, including me, are full of praise for the HOD that is the head of the department, Mr. Pushpal Desai, who is extremely good at handling students and helping them out with all kinds of problems. The teachers are also very updated about academics and are ready to help students whenever they need some kind of help. But teachers are trained to have a keen attention to detail, so every student gets the optimum attention they need to excel.

The placement ratings are very high; almost 99% of the students get placed. There is a placement cell in college that helps students look for suitable jobs and also get recommendations. Different companies also get in touch with the college and rely on the good reputation of its college for getting the best employees for their company. The placement cell trains the students to crack interviews with ease. Soft skills and mannerisms of interviews are taught for which the college records high placement since the students are already trained to face any difficult situation or problems during the interview. Not only companies from Surat but also from outside come to the college to offer employment.

The infrastructure is wonderful in this college, with spacious classrooms and state-of-the-art technology implemented in them. Many classrooms have DLP projectors and smart boards. There is even a well-resourced library which is very helpful for the students, especially during exams. The library has all kinds of national and international journals, eBooks, CD's DVD's and cassettes of old recordings if required. The library even boasts of more than 1.3 lacs books for students. There is an amphitheater that can hold up to 900 and more people, and there's a seminar hall with a capacity of 120 people. The canteen serves delicious food, and there is even a separate girl's room.

The college campus is very big and situated in our prime location. It is placed only 7.3 kilometers from the airport and 10.4 kilometers from the railway station. Students are very friendly, and the campus is always lively with different activities. An amphitheater is commonplace for students to hang out, and the canteen food is enjoyed by all. So, if you are planning to join the ICT or IT program offered by this college, it is a BIG YES from my side.
