I would say that ending up at the Anna Adarsh College for Women was fated because it was the only college I has applied to and got accepted on my first try. This college feels like a dream, or should I say a movie. I experienced a lot of emotions; happiness, adventure, comedy, action, and even a little bit of mystery. Want to experience all of this? I joined the Bachelor of Business Administration program. Since we were the first batch, everyone was trying to figure things out as we didn't have seniors to rely on. However, our staff was very kind and helpful. This college offered opportunities that helped us grow and learn. Students from the Commerce background having any stream can apply.

The best part of this college is the faculty. They are very friendly. You can go to them with any issue or doubt, whether academic or personal and they will help you. Additionally, they have mentor-mentee sessions where you can openly share any concerns regarding anything that is bothering you.

Placements are good. We had a wide range of companies coming in for recruitment like TCS, Accenture and Sutherland. From my class, almost 80% of the students who opted for placements were placed in top companies. I myself was placed in two companies before I left.

Yes, we do have residential facilities. But I have no detailed knowledge about the infrastructure and necessities. One student from our class used to live in the hostel and from what I've enquired, the hostel is good and fits within our budget.

The infrastructure is good. They have a chemistry lab, physics lab, computer lab and a consulting room. Recently, they've built an open-air theatre. There are lots of trees, having their scientific names tagged on them. Since this college comes under the Madras University, we have to follow the syllabus and books prescribed by them.

Here comes the most enjoyable and life-learning part. This college has more than 12 clubs, including the fine arts club, book club, sports club, health wellness club and many more. You can join these clubs based on your interests. The cultural events are plentiful in this college as compared to others. Alongside celebrations like Women's Day or other festive occasions, you can expect regular events to happen on the campus. They also provide engagement and learning opportunities such as webinars, career guidance programs, industrial visits, internships, project reports, etc. to enhance the understanding of our respective field.
