Anna Adarsh College for Women – My Views

Overall Rating
This college was recommended to me by someone I knew. Like any school student, I expected indifferent professors and was anticipating a typical college experience. However, to my surprise, the professors were very kind and knowledgeable, and their teaching method was very much satisfactory. Despite not being a well-known college, it certainly lived up to its reputation in terms of quality education, and my overall experience was positive.
 

Academics Rating
My choice of course is Bachelor of Business Administration [BBA]. The duration of the course is three years, with each consisting of six semesters. Students who have completed their 12th grade are eligible to apply for this course regardless of the streams they have chosen in school. The BBA degree equips an individual with knowledge and skill, and it focuses on various aspects such as HR, marketing, accounting, research, etc., providing the individual with skills such as leadership, entrepreneurship, flexibility and global perspective.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty is one of the best things about Anna Adarsh College for Women. They are kind and are ready to help you when you need them in both academics and personal issues or doubts. They bring up new methods of educating to make it more fun and interactive class. They always connect current affairs with the syllabus to widen the horizons of the students.
 

Placement Rating
The placement opportunities at Anna Adarsh College for Women are pretty good. Students with no backlogs can attend as many placement sessions as they need until they secure a job. Renowned companies like TATA, Accenture, Sutherland, L&T, HCL, Wipro, etc., participate in the placement process.
 

Hostel Rating
Our college does have hostel facilities. A friend of mine is a hosteller and they have mentioned that the hostel seems quite affordable and the food is good. I don't have personal experience as I am not a hosteller myself. For further inquiries, please contact the college management.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure at our college is pretty good surrounded by trees which create a green, neat, and tidy environment. The facilities include a library, chemistry lab, physics lab, home science lab, computer lab, consulting room, open-view theater, auditorium, and conference hall. Availability of washrooms in each floor is very convenient. Additionally, the college provides parking space for the students.
 

Campus Rating
Anna Adarsh College for Women offered a wide array of clubs, such as the Fine Arts Club, Rotaract Club, Book Club, Red Ribbon Club, Entrepreneurship Club, Crafts Club, and IIC Club, etc. Providing the students with numerous opportunities to join various clubs and participate in events. The college conducts events such as the cultural festival, Negarika and Megmalarh, which is open to other colleges as well. The college also conducts sports events such as badminton, throw ball, cricket, and other indoor games providing the students with a pleasant experience.

    It was a good experience in this institution and I have applied to different colleges like Ethiraj College for Women, DG Vaishnava where I got the evening shift with higher fees compared to Anna Adarsh.
