I’m a student with a Commerce background and wanted to pursue a career in the same underlying industry. Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) was the best possible degree for me to pursue and get relevant experience at the time. Considering my score the Dyal Singh College seemed like the perfect education destination for me. I’m grateful to say that the education and lessons the institution provided me with, has helped me become a much better individual in life.

The course I decided to enroll into was Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.). It is a multidisciplinary course which provided me with an elaborate overview about Commerce and its related trades. It has a wide scope and includes subjects like Income Tax, Auditing, Corporate Accounting, Business Mathematics, Micro-Economics and so much more. Students can apply after completing their higher secondary board exams and giving the appropriate CUET exams (more information is available at their website).

Dyal Singh College offers teachers and professors who have been in the trade for decades and have an abundance of teaching experience. Most of them have studied in the premier institutes of their relevant field across the globe. They offer a very unique teaching style. The faculties are extremely helpful and are very accomplished individuals in their professional lives. Most of them try to use all the possible resources to try and inculcate their lessons. They believe in the ways of interactive learning.

Dyal Singh College does not provide a hostel.

The college has a large campus jurisdiction with spacious classrooms and designated spaces for other activities. The college is equipped with all the necessary labs and equipment to be able to perform practical and research work. The college also has sport facilities ranging from the football field and basketball courts to marching grounds and so on. There is a big functioning library with thousands of books to choose from, a college canteen, several workspaces and other basic amnesties that a person can expect from a college.

The campus life has been the shining light of my college experience. The crowd is diverse. Opportunities to socialize and network with new people are immense and all of this helps in building a person and make connections with people that could last forever. There are various societies that focus on aspects like social work, entrepreneurship and creative discipline. This enables every person to have a chance to further explore their interests and meet with likeminded people. Fests are held by different college societies regularly which include several different activities, always providing a platform to learn and connect. Lastly, I would like to say that if you are someone who decides to enroll into this college and put enough effort into the holistic development of oneself, I’m sure that you would have a competent platform to become the kind of person you want to be in your life.
