ITM University Gwalior: Unfiltered Views of Engineering Student

Overall Rating
Studying at ITM University has been a good experience for me. The University has good environment where you get chances to explore both academics & extracurricular activities. It is not perfect but you are someone who takes initiative than you can make the most out of it. I have had opportunities to participate in events and improve my skills Overall, it feels like a place where your growth mostly depends on how much effort you put in.

Academics Rating
Academics are average in my opinion. The syllabus covers the basics well & focused on theory than practical knowledge. Some subjects are interesting, but you often have to study extra on your own to stay industry ready. Regular classes and exams keep things going, but self- learning plays a big role. If one rely only on University academics it might not be enough.
The fee structure feels a bit higher as compared to facilities provided. It is manageable, but not exactly value for money in some aspect. However, the University does offer scholarships and if a student makes full use of the provided such opportunities, than the fees are okay.

Faculty Rating
The faculty is supportive & helpful most of the time. Many teachers are knowledgeable and explain concepts clearly. I have found some professors supportive & approachable when it comes to doubts or guidance. Of course, teaching quality varies from one faculty member to another, but overall the experience has been positive. If a student stays engage in class and communicate with them, they are usually willing to help you improve.

Placement Rating
Placements are good. Companies do visit the campus and students who are well prepared usually manage to be placed. The ITM University Gwalior also provides training sessions and mock interviews, which are helpful to some extent. Also, the highest salary package is 45 LPA.

Hostel Rating
Hostel life is comfortable. The rooms are decent and basic facilities like water, electricity, & security are properly maintained. The food in mess is okay, sometimes good but sometimes not so great. Overall, hostel life helps to be more independent and gives a typical University experience, which I think is an important part of student life.

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of the University is average with well-maintained classes, labs, and spacious. Facilities like libraries, computer labs, and seminar halls are there. The campus is spacious which makes it a nice place to study and hangout also provide a good environment for both learning and extracurricular activities. In addition, facilities like canteen are decent with affordable food options. Sports facilities are available for both indoor and outdoor games. Some areas could definitely be improved or updated, but overall, it is average in terms of infrastructure.

Campus Rating
Campus life here is something is good. There is always something happening like fests events competitions or club activities so it rarely feels boring. There are various clubs related to Tech, Cultural, Music, and many more. You get to meet different kinds of people and build good friendships. The environment is lively and gives proper University vibes. If you stay active and involved, life at campus can be really fun and memorable.
