ITM University, Gwalior established in 1997 is a Private University Educational Institution. ITM University Gwalior is approved by UGC, NCTE, COA, PCI, INC, BCI and ICAR, and is accredited by NAAC. Admission in ITM University Gwalior is offered in Engineering, Management and Humanities at UG/ PG/ Diploma/ Doctorate/ Certificate level with scholarship benefits to deserving students.
ITM University came into existence back in 1997 with the support of Samata Lok Sansthan Trust (established in 1984) with the AICTE's clearance. It has been recognised by UGC, and approved by NAAC and ICAR. Architecture courses have their approval from CoA; nursing courses are approved by INC. Pharmacy courses has their approval from PCI, law courses from BCI, and Education courses are approved by NCTE.
Trust opened ITM (MCA) in 2000 whereas B.E. students were admitted to the Institute of Information Technology & Management (IITM) in 2002. The additional courses MBA & MCA were launched in 2006-2007 & 2007-2008, respectively. These organisations have received proper AICTE approval and are associated with RGPV, Bhopal. In the year 2000, the Institute of Allied Sciences & Computer Applications, and in 2002, the Nursing Science Studies were also introduced. ITM School of Law was founded in 2003, the Education college in 2002, and the Management School in 2008.These colleges have their affiliation with Jiwaji University in Gwalior.
ITM University is a multifunctional institution known for its research and instruction in all fields of study, including the sciences, management, fine arts, nursing, and other fields. The college has diploma courses in engineering, pharmacy, business, journalism, and Para medical sciences. It also offers UG and PG programs along with 5 years integrated programs like B.Tech-M.Tech, BA B.Ed, BA LLB/BBA LLB/ B.Com LLB (H). The college has Ph.D programs in computer applications, engineering subjects, management, agriculture, physical education, and pharmacy.
According to India Today's July 2019 ranking, it was ranked first in the best private universities in MP state and the only private university from MP to be placed in the Top 50 list in India. A variety of conferences, panels, forums, and workshops are held by ITM every year. These activities assist in having conversations between academics, business people, policymakers and the students.
ITM University takes admission through the ITM NEST entrance test and, if necessary, the JEE/ PAT/ NATA/ GATE/ CMAT/ or CAT entrance exams are considered. For PG / Ph.D. courses (where applicable), written exams, interviews, and GDs will be held. Academic records and job experience will be taken into account for determining admittance to the university.
Candidates may apply online; the initial application should be reviewed to ensure that all of the fields are accurately filled out. The right course codes are used to indicate the desired course to apply for admission and submit it with DD/ or make application fee online. Application forms that are not fully filled will not be taken into account. Once done, the form cannot be returned and the application cost cannot be refunded under any circumstances. The final program and branch allocation will be based on the combined merit of the NEST score and the 12th class score. Students on the merit list may confirm their admission within the allotted time by paying the tuition fee.

Merit Based
ITM University Scholarships: Approximately 600–700 students at the campus are given scholarships based on their academic achievement, socioeconomic standing, and success in the entrance exam.
Chancellor Scholarships: According to their success in the exams, 25–30% of the students in both the UG and PG programmes receive the renowned Chancellor Scholarships.
Government Scholarships: The government scholarships are also available from various governments (state/central) for the qualified students (SC/ST/OBC). Scholarships provided by several private groups can help students.
Sports & Cultural Scholarships: University awards scholarships and cash prizes to students who excel in athletics, cultural activities, or social events.

ITM University has always placed the highest focus on training and placements. To put this into practise a specialised training and placement aid cell (TAP) has been formed with cutting-edge facilities. An experienced individual from the industry is in charge of this cell. The Cell is in charge of carrying out the timetables along with the academics to groom students better.

It was able to place students into Oracle, CETPA, Red Hat Academy, Microsoft, Autodesk, and One Planet Research. Aspiring minds, SAFEXPRESS, DALE CARNEGIE, SPLEN, Allsoft, and TPC Global are the other companies that have shown their interest in picking students. More than 500 recruiters visited the campus to choose students of different streams.
The university has agreements with a variety of reputable businesses to carry out the operations of training and augmentation programmes: Global Career Education, British council, HPES, and Randstad.
ITM University is located on a scenic campus that spans 125 acres near the Vindhyaachal mountain range. The campus provides perfect facilities and resources that help students in overall growth.
Library: The library is totally computerised, thanks to the e-granthalaya management software. It has all of academic studies and research materials and is filled with over 100,000 books, periodicals, references, national/international publications. The library also has newspapers and journals on a variety of topics. NDL and DELNET are additional organisations that the Library belongs to. Students get access to journals, e-books, class notes, and subject study materials thanks to Intranet membership.

Hostels: Staying on campus is among the most important factors in a focused & efficient learning experience. The site is home to a boys' hostel with a total of 1150 beds. The hostel has basic recreational and indoor sporting amenities that give students a cosy atmosphere and help them feel more a part of the community. There are now an 800-person capacity semi-automated and clean mess and eating facilities available. Within the site is a separate girls' hostel with a capacity of 200 beds. Hostellers are also given access to transportation for trips into the city.
Sports: Sports facilities include a 400-meter, eight-lane track, a basketball complex with two courts, and a tennis complex with two courts. There is a Kho-Kho field, two Kabbaddi courts, handball court, two volleyball courts, and international level turf fields for cricket. One football field with natural turf and a grass hockey ground is also a part of the university. Indoor games like Badminton, Multi Gym, Yoga hall, TT, and a 25 meters swimming pool are also there on the campus.
Sun Risers Hyderabad's official sponsor and knowledge partner during the 2015 IPL was ITM University. Students got the chance to talk to and interact with international cricket players.
Medical Health Center: University features a top class medical centre on campus. In order to ensure the good health of all members, it offers health care services and a full-time expert doctor is on duty performing routine health examinations and giving medical care when required.
Guest House: For the benefit of visiting notable people and visiting faculty, a nicely furnished guest house is kept up. It offers a welcoming atmosphere and setting for the visitor.
Convention Center: There are five seminar halls and the largest amphitheatre called "NAAD" in the university's convention centre facilities.
Coffee Points: By setting up coffee points, the university offers spaces for rest, debate, and open exchange of ideas between staff and students. These ideas also help young students boost their mind over a cup of coffee.
Others: There is a UCO Bank branch on the campus. State Bank of India provides an ATM facility just outside ITM's main entrance. On-campus security is there around-the-clock by the university.

Institute of Technology and Management or ITM University came into being with the passage of the Madhya Pradesh State Legislature Act as notified in the official gazette of the state government. ITM is an initiative of the registered charitable trust, Samata Lok Sansthan. SLS (Samata Lok Sansthan) for the past 15 years has been effectively managing various academic institutions engaged in disciplines such as education, nursing, management, and computer applications.

India Today in July 2019 accorded the 1st position to ITM amongst all private universities in Madhya Pradesh.
