Established in 2022 as a Private Educational Institution, Vikrant University was formerly known as Vikrant Institute of Technology and Management. The University has around 2 campuses in Madhya Pradesh that are located in Gwalior (main) and Indore.
The University is approved by AICTE & UGC and recognised by BCI, PCI, Madhya Pradesh Private University Regulatory Commission (MPPURC), and Government of Madhya Pradesh. It is also a member of Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and Association of Universities of Asia and the Pacific (AUAP).
More than 120 programs are offered by the University at Bachelors, Masters, Diploma, Certificate, and Doctorate level under around 12 different academic Schools. Some of them are School of Engineering & Technology, School of Computer Application, School of Management & Commerce, School of Pharmacy, and School of Legal Studies.
The prominent courses of Vikrant University Gwalior are B.Tech at UG and MBA at PG level. For admission in B.Tech, students have to apply with a valid score in JEE Main and pay between Rs. 60,000/- to Rs. 88,000/- as annual fees, depending on the opted specialisation. Whereas, a valid score in CAT / MAT / XAT / CMAT is required for the MBA course and students need to pay Rs. 80,000/- as yearly fees.
The University is known for providing strong placement assistance to the students as top companies from different domains including Accenture, Infosys, Wipro, Google, Axis Bank, Deloitte, Oracle, and others participate in their recruitment drive. In 2025, students have secured a highest package of 24.4 LPA and the placement rate is around 79%.
Vikrant University rankings include 94th position under ‘Best Engineering Colleges in India (Private)’ category in IIRF 2024.
